rumor has it i have 8 HEAVY boxes sitting at the pad waiting for me I wonder what could be in those. Man im not off till 4 and home till 5, this sucks! since i got your attention here is just a few pics from last nite. This is just the beginning of what will be lots of 2x3's and other bracing BEFORE i glass it up for more strength. as you can see, it is close quarters in here, very uncomfortable to work in.......well being in the 215lb and up club dont help.

Yeah that says a lot about Meades character... real classy guy.. even though he got some monsters in the rear, he's careful where he lets them out LOL hey man i try I mean i DO have a little devil on the other shoulder always gettin me in trouble but for real, i try to take it easy in neighborhoods most of the time. Lately i take people on this stretch of road that is a little away from people and i can do like 55mph (keepin the alts turning fast) so it works out best for everyone

I support the people that support me so i wear the Rockford and Fi gear as much as hygenicly (*sp) possible. i dont run RF subs because RF doesnt currently make an 18" sub and the 18's they DID produce in the past could not handle the amount of power i put on them at this point. Im an 18" sub kinda guy and they dont have them so i moved on in that area. Thats fine because in the meantime i found what i was looking for and now theres no looking back To answer your other question, just look at the title of this thread lol yeah ur gonna run btl s oops but hey i need ur opinion on something, would you buy two fi bl15 subs or two t215 rockford they both have the same rms, wich ones would sound better more bass. and one last question hope u dont mind, how much do u think youre gonna spend on ur caddy all the sound system??? thanks again. its not my caddy but i will spend plenty, trust me the Rockford or the Fi should both be a fine choice....do whatever works for you bro.

i had to cut this one all crazy to go around the rear-A/C stuff. It will be disabled, taped over, and glassed in (so i dont ruin it). I was going to try and use it but i just dont think ill be able to at this point. Its not needed anyway.. The other 2x2's you see are going to help form an exo-skeleton type thing on the outside. Should be SUPER stout when im done with it. Lots of layers of wood and fiberglass coming up soon......ran out of wood tonite though so ill have to go shopping tomorrow after work.

These 2 x3's not only make the roof a few inches thicker, it gives me something to attach my middle-chamber-roof piece too each two-by was screwed to the one in front of it until i made it to the end.... That well will have to be glassed over of course..

thanks nahh no deadline, its the Hoopty, we got as long as it takes here is the latest....looks like the same stuff but this time its for real and not mocked up any more. Glue, nails, screws.......its in the truck now for good Cant forget to mention the headliner......that thing was a project in itself to replace after pulling it out. Its HUGE, and im all alone here most of the time. Before i stuck the pieces back in ran the router over the baffles to clean them up some.

to be honest.....ive used a lot of different brands and this stuff is just like any other brand. I like it but it does what it is supposed to just like the others. It is really sticky and that is a plus-plus If it stays (like some brands that didnt exactly "stay") then thats another plus. so far i really like it and have no complaints!

just like pops used to say.....when he reaches his hand out for money i tell him "cool, today you get to eat and have a place to sleep" hahah trust me, i cant shake my son if i wanted too. He loves helpin dad

Finally made some time to get the project rolling again..... Got the HushMat the other day and today i installed about 100 sq feet of it. Boring pics but PROGRESS pics so dont bitch

a couple videos i took of a guy with the screenname "headshok" from my forums. He lives in Singapore........he came all the way to Nor Cal to check out the Tahoe for himself. i gave him a ride in the Hoe and the Civic... Very friendly, funny guy....... The Tahoe demo The Civic demo my admin wasnt awake when i finished editing the vids so Youtube will have to do until i get it on my video page......no problem though these vids get the point across

my house is done, the work area is clean........i have no excuse BUT to get some work done now (had my house flipped with some new stucco and it took up my work area for a few) anyway today i start pulling everything out so i can Hush-Mat it down........and then after that i can finally use glue, nails, screws and whatever other fasteners i can find to put the wall together permanently. of course ill update when i have some updates.....may not be anything COOL to look at with all the deadening i have to do but at least it will be progress

ya the spinners are gonna probably be gone.......these aint walmart spinners though. I know what you mean about the hubcap spinners ruining it all, it did for me too. settle down man.. those pics are a few years old. For sure the sticker is going........dont know about the tail lights. The grill is fine. Maybe ill change it, maybe i wont, it looks fine to me. Its not stock. Dont worry, ill decide what looks best and if you dont agree youll probably hook yours up different. We dont all have the same taste.

i feel you........its a caddy, most would kill for, even me.....but it does need an update on the look. I plan on stripping the spinners off like i did on the EXT. I plan on putting some new 24's possibly, and for sure a roll pan. Its also gonna get painted and interior handled. It should look clean when im done.

not much of an update......the new batterys should be here any day and i also have a Hush-Matt sample on the way and if i like it ill order up. I need to take the enclosure back apart again and deaden the entire cabin or at least the rear half before i can permenently mount the box. Told you guys this is no rush job......i have my civic to finish as well as my house is getting a make-over by my Dad and Brother right now. (new stucco) If i want a new stucco job on my house for free then i have to be their burro (mule) while its being done, thats part of the deal So that being said ill keep you guys updated but i have a few things going at once.... Here is just a couple pics The top of the box will have a layer of 2x3's plus the mdf board that mounts up there. I thought this would give it some more stregnth plus give me something to attach the top piece to. i got other pieces "mocked up" and ready for install but again, im waiting on my damping material before i can go further..... here is another thing i handled as well. I tinted all the rear windows 5% over the factory 20% (i think its factory 20). just like my Hoe, you can not see inside even if you put your nose on the glass i think the pics of the side windows are on my other camera, these are all from my cell phone....i dont have the cam here on me. more pics as i make more progress of course
