  1. u tube will have to do until i get it on the my site tonite......but check out this video i took about an hour ago. I dropped a few co-workers off to pick up a few fords for our company fleet. The manager of the fleet center wanted to hear it so i let him and the building have it

short but devestating window flex vid...

well its a tahoe so although i dont use any of the ones in the rear "A" pillars (for lack of a better word, the stock ones by the rear hatch going upward).....i still have them in all 4 doors and the front Apillars. So i dont have the perfect "front" stage but its not too bad. Its a Tahoe and i have kids riding at LEAST 4 times a week, so rear doors need speakers. Anyway here is a diagram of what i am currently running...

dunno man but my hearing is fine.....also i have lost or broken tons of items in and outside of the truck.....when it goes back, IF it does, it is reinforced (and usually falls off again ) the steering wheel is solid as a rock, you cant bend it like that by hand so its a trip that the bass can so easily

my pockets arent deep, im po folk man!! well not that po' but not rich niether..... any way thanks! i remade it and slowed down a few things so you can see how much my truck is moving....plus its a little cleaner coming from my site too. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/videos/windowshakeIII.wmv
  5. thats it for tonite my buzz is kickin in and its hard 2 type
  6. decided to start the door panels......this is all trial and error here, i THINK this is one of my options...anyway i got thru 1 6 1/2" trim ring and halfway thru one of the 10" trim rings before i had my accident with the router tonite.......
  7. ok one of the things i took care of was i mounted the powermaster intellicharger up permanently to the system. I did this because i know there will be days where the Hoopty will be sitting in the garage chillen not being shown off. While that is happening all he has to do now is open the gas cap, plug it in and this thing will charge and maintain the battery bank indefinitly.......until he is ready to take it out and show it off again. Its not a "power supply", the alts will take care of that, but meant to keep the batteries maintained and in tip top shape in between play time.
  8. LOL :D love you too, in a non gay way.......wait, shutttup fag!! j/p thanks bro!
  9. a little video clip.....man it was good to get the dirt off of her, she was FILTHY! :D
  10. .....all that bags and bling is cool but dont forget whats inside
  11. Ok time to wire up the new pumps...yes even the 4, 8, and 10 ga wire (off the pumps) is all soldered just like every terminal in the rest of the system..... Heres a good spot for the Solenoid! Here is the 4ga headin out to the pumps all i had was a 300 amp fuse layin around, ill probably drop that down to 100 or so this week when i order-up some stuff
  12. a sneak-peak at the mids/highs....all Rockford. 6 sets of Power 6.5 (T162 S) 2 Sets of Power 5 1/4 (T152 S) 2 (4 if i can) Shallow Mount Rockford P3 10's
  13. also managed to run RCA, Cat5, and Remote wires under the truck and into the front cabin....protected by black tape and a strategic run, shouldnt be a problem.... Everything is soldered in this ride, even the small terminals for the remote wires and small positive/negatives from other accesories. i made a nice hole in the front to bring the wires up thru.....and over to whatever deck i pick out. Thats all for later though..
  14. I had to make this because as you can see the bolts are so close to the edge they will get all sideways if i torque them down.....so these are little "spacers" for lack of a better word. Worked GREAT and they dont have a gangsta lean now
  15. Well here is my solution to the problem with the pumps being to big for their "rack".....a little steel a drill, and a welder is always a good thing to have layin around. These should do.....they are little extensions that give the feet of the compressors something to sit on. A few welds to the original rack and i should be in business...
  16. Time to take out the old ViAir 450's........first i had to move the rear tank out of the way. The smaller pumps wouldnt come out and the new BIGGER ones werent about to go back in if i didnt do that.... Ok we have a slight problem.....time to come up with a solution. Out with the other 450.. Pumps first......then when im done i will tap in with the ever reliable Nitrogen bottle.....for those times when he wants to hit a few switches and not have the compressor come on.....sucks when you have to wait on compressors, although i am using the fast pumps now (big reds) its still nice to have the bottle
  17. I love laying on my back under 3 tons of metal, amp, battery and subwoofer (and wood ) I love it so much ive spent 6 days like this changing bags and running wires. Im STILL not done! At least the front bags werent so bad, i would rather saw my arm off then do the rears again..... Some new pumps......i have one of these in the honda and it fills VERY fast and has a 200lb rating as opposed to the 170 on the last pumps.....this thing should fill up EASILY twice as fast, maybe more
  18. Ok guys, as you know, this isnt JUST a system install, i am doing lots more stuff beside that.....the last few weekends have been dialing in the Air system on this ride. I replaced all the PAIN in the ass bags (rear was hard as hell) and also the pumps. Pics will tell all.....(oh ya, the spinners are gone...i still havent washed it and took a pic of it laid out but i will tomorrow) Moved my wire racks to my work area.....freed up some space in the garage Spinners come off.....revealing a 24" Oasis Gothic, just like mine but no center cap....all one piece. I THINK these were due to be replaced
  19. not much of an "update" but i worked my ass off for the last few days.....i posted this on my site at like 2pm when i clocked out, but i didnt post it anywhere else since its not really a lot of pics to show. OH and thanks guys i appreciate the comments!! posted at 2pm --------------------------------------------------- ok guys dont ask me what i did this weekend......im clockin out right now. I lifted the car, put it on jackstands and planned on replacing the bags (old and cracked) and run the RCA's under the truck into the cabin. Well i managed to get the rear bags in.....i would have rather changed the damn tranny then do that again. The people that installed the bags OBVIOUSLY werent thinking of the future or anyone who might need to replace a bag someday. No room, especially the driver side rear.....turning wrenches in brail, and bolts going in and out 1/32 of a turn at a time. Im so frustrated, pissed, tired, stressed........my skin is raw on my forearms and hands, the back of my head has a flat spot on it from laying down on my back for 12 hours. Yes, 12 hours....when things dont cooperate it makes for a fudgeED UP saturday and part of sunday.........im clockin the hell out, ill do the front bags and run the RCA's during the week or even on the weekend but im fed up right now i dont even want to look out there at the hoopty the rest of the day. thats my update.
  20. np man yes it is very flexible
  21. well most of that dirt was aquired sitting in MY backyard......i mean i had it over a year before i started the project. We were doing other things including waiting for him to finish his house that was being built so it just sat and sat for the longest time. Belive me he has 10 cars probably and the detailers come 2 times a week to keep things fresh. I love that about him because the other stuff ive done for him looks as good as the day it left. 3 years later still perfect, and he beats the HELL out of his systems when he is showin them off or just kickin it. The towers in the house BY FAR get the most abuse though LOL....
