One of the problems with the RE calc is when you enter in the port length 2 number people assume that is the port length which I think is happening here. Just a little miscommunication. If you do it that way the numbers work out.

not an option. i have an fi bl. so im looking for 1500. thanks anyway You don't need to use the full 2kW. Ever heard of a gain knob? gain control does not determine the maximum power that an amplifier can produce. As long as the preamp/drive signal has sufficient level, the amplifier will produce its maximum power output level. ... yes it does. That's how you Set your gain. To limit the maximum power output and match your input signal. So I'll assume you know what it is now, just not what it does. http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/4/499728.html read and learn. i know what it does. you dont. Riddle me this, What happens when your head unit is rated at 4V preout and you set the sensitivity knob to 8V?

I don't think I needed another reason to want some of these new models.

If it is an option and it happens I would wait for a SAZ-2000D for $425 on presale. If you can wait that long.
-
It doesnt say it isn't stable at 1 ohm it says "the SAE-1200D is not meant to be stable or handle below 1ohm like the SAZ-1500D can"

Looks nice. More importantly how does it sound?
-
Check the dust cap also. If it came even a little unglued it can make a nasty sound.

The Apple I am on right now is SLOW But the one I am on the most never gets above 50% usage. Nothing beats my Athlon XP 3200+ quickly becoming a dinosaur.

2GB left? wow I keep 40 free and friend of mine, Tub Asko on most forums, keeps a terabyte free. lol Umm No its 2 GB of ram. that is a ram monitor. Not disk space.

I'm more concerned with my cpu usage right now though. Seems anything to do with flash on a website peg the usage to 100%. I have to turn the flash plugin off to get it back to zero. Doesnt seem to care what browser I use either.

Doom No way I should need more memory. well maybe for the way I use my computer though. But still I have 2GB using XP.

No problem. I didn't have a problem dating a girl that was 30 when I was 23.

reallllly now? Ok, then they use them as a safe guard on warranty claims. Why are you contradicting yourself now? If you never over power your speakers then there would be very little reason to avoid the fuses.
-
They use them to prevent to much power from going to the subs.
-
Are you sure they were fuses and not just a bridging module that looked like a fuse?
-
lookin for a decent o scope...

Why not go for marine battery cable, made for marine applications. http://bestboatwire.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=24 And if your really worried, get some dielectric grease for the connections. http://www.etrailer.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?S...;Category_Code= -

Assuming it is a freshly built ported box and you didn't clean it out well after building it, it could just be sawdust blowing out of the port. -

I may need to stay on the look out if you decide to sell the chrome ones.
