Very specific sub request... LOUD SQ WALL <$900 (shipped)?
NB50 replied to Boomboxx's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I think I would steer clear of the Vmax's I had the 12" silver cones of them and did not care for them at all. No matter what enclosure I had them in I couldn't get them to sound right. They had a hollow type of sound to them. -
Wheres Mark been lately? Haven't seen him on in awhile hope all is well with him.

Why? I used to hate the fall myself until we opened the Haunt. Its just generally a bad time of year for me. I have terribly dry skin that starts to flare up starting in Oct and is really uncomfortable at times. Seems someone always dies in the month. So far this month my grandfather took a turn for the worse, from being able to doing everything himself to having to go into assisted living. My cousins dad died, and my buddy's grandmother died. Not to mention all the past people I knew that passed in the month. Just in general a bad month for me. I was trying to find something to keep me occupied during it but have no clue. Sorry to hear this, I do hope things get better for you. You are more than welcome to help me torment people this month. Thinking of torment, I need to gas up the chainsaw. Thanks, its been going on like that for years. Should be used to it but not quite.

Aaron or Mark have never pushed their product hard on anyone. They always try to get the users goals down and then help them make the best decision that will best suit them.

Ugh, I hate October.

I got it at about 28" long. Looks like your following the recommendations off of IA's site you should be all right then.

Calculate shipping to and from and add it to that it should get you close enough to get you an idea of what it cost. Not sure if they charge labor to do them though.

Might want to check their sight out. https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=154ace9ec99190d/shopdata/0080_Recones/0010_Fi+Recone+Shop/product_overview.shopscript

Yeah I think I know what you're talking about, was it the Router Buddy Circle Jig? Jasper Circle Jigs (needs a jig saw to use it) or the Router Buddy Kit (needs a router to use it). I would choose a Router though, after using a jigsaw on my last enclosure (since that was all I had); it reminded me of back in shop class in middle school and how easy a router was in circular cuts. Jasper Jigs are for a router. They work well, never had a problem with mine.

If I remember correctly Nick said to follow the LI series guidelines when I was inquiring about them for my 12" Flatlynes.

There is mounting hardware provided I believe. From my understanding in the manual. There are holes on the back side of the amplifier, which you can either use mounting tabs provided or use bolts you buy to make a stealth mounting to a board screwing them in from behind.

Some people will.

hopefully nutty in a good way Yes and no. Was hoping we would get a lot more people to follow through. Might do another group buy down the road once the first wave have been out for a little while. Hmm, maybe after the second wave of the amps release.

Ouch, been there. I had a board in my trunk once and slid in the way of the woofers I had at the time, luckily all it did was crack the cosmetic dust cap that was on them and they were still usable. Now I don't keep anything in the trunk that doesn't need to be.

I personally wouldn't trust a cheap DMM to measure rather accurately at other frequencies. I'll give you that, but it seems whenever I see this type of topic people make it sound like that is all they can measure. Granted cheap DMM's only have a certain range of accuracy like ~45 to 1000Hz. I've had so much as a person tell me they are only accurate at 60Hz because that is what 90% of the world uses for their home lines.

We have to get the list of commands going again. Strip works well. strip, detail, bumper, drive, eat, shirt, cum, kiss, lingerie, ass, tits, fondle, caress, suck Going to have to go through all of those. Type in "die." That was hilarious! cameltoe was kinda funny

Your car wont run.

Because people seem to believe that is what multi meters are meant to measure is 50 or 60Hz.
