Internal volume is below the minimum recommended and its not tuned to the 32hz you want. I got it at 4.59ft^3 @ 33.66hz

Dimensions don't look right at all.

Paralleling two alts...Do I need a equilizing conection?

There's a problem that is talking about AC generators not DC. Yes your alternator creates an AC waveform, in fact three of them, then converts it to DC. If you were to measure the AC output before the rectifier it would have three waveforms about 45* out of phase of each other. It will look something like this. After you convert AC to DC there is no phase. -
Thanks for all the kind words guys. I just need to bring myself to go to the funeral, no matter who it is for I can't seem to go to the funeral by myself. Even worse is if I have to go to a hospital, I will barely step foot in a hospital with or with out some one by myside. I'll more then likely find another friend that is going there and tag along with them.

Positioning is going to depend on the room. Place the sub in your normal listening position then walk around the room to see where you get the desired response at, when you find it then place the sub there then enjoy in your normal position.

I wouldn't give them a dime of my money. -
:pours a little out for a friend: Just got news a friend has passed away, kinda knew it might have been coming but still shocking.

How does it see such a long port? I figured a 20" port was a 20" port... Gosh I must be tuned super low... The bend in the port as it ends in the corner and half port width for end correction.
-
You just figured out that the calculator you are using is off, it doesn't notice when a port has to bend. I'd also question they way it calculates tuning and volume then.

With the way people abbreviate things now, I'm am not surprised he saw BTL and came up with beetle.

Not anymore Most of what I bought today I won't even open for at least 5 years. I did pick up two cases of drink now wine, but it also won't hurt if its around for 5 years. Most of what I like is better aged, therefore you need to buy in bulk when things are cheap (Cellars progressive sale 28% off ) or shop an awful lot. As for me being an alcoholic, I pretty much have ever liquor most bars would have (without the duplicates, ie I might only have 1 vodka) but I haven't made myself a mixed drink in months. If you removed Margarita's from the list of mixed drink it might even be a few years. I regularly make them for guests which is why I make sure to keep it stocked. The wine is for food. When I want to get drunk I buy beer. Good beer. This may be a naive question but I thought all of alcohols aging was done in the barrels and keeping it in the bottles for periods of time after bottling didn't change it since its been bottled. At least that is what I understood from doing some light research on whiskey as I have a pretty old bottle of whiskey, unless wine is different.

If those are the only choices, I'd choose the hifonics over the power acoustic and for spl go ported.

Good thinking on the mock up.

Sorry been without internet for awhile. Here you go.

The JL will be fine for them.

I believe mrray13 is in law enforcement.

Another sleepless night.

The sites accurate, it already calculates end correction into it, but it uses the net volume of the enclosure. Meaning it calculates the tuning for the volume you enter which should be after all displacements including port, sub, and any bracing.

I'd recommend going with something else. Those box specs look horrible. 1ft^3 @ 43.5hz

Gotcha. Not to much room back there, I was almost thinking they borrowed the salvation army lot across the street. Maybe I'll have to go down there to check it out if they have another.
-
Just hook it up positive to positive and negative to negative. Your not bridging anything, bridging an amp refers to 2 or 4 channel amps.

Are you talking about the store Civic music? yeah in Utica mi I've never heard of them doing a show, then again I don't go there much. Its hard for me to imagine where they hold it, they have no parking lot.

The Subwoofer DIY Page - Port Calculations huh, the ones I wrote are from the Loudspeaker Design Cookbook.

dv = min vent dia in inches fb = tuning freq vd = cone displacement in cubic meters dv >= 39.37*(411.25*Vd / sqrt Fb) ^(1/2) Or dv >= 39.37* (fb*Vd) ^(1/2) So was I using the wrong formula? I guess, where did you get it from?
