You could also try digikey or mouser for 2ohm resistors.

You might have some port noise, as it is just under to suggested ratio of 9:1 for port height/width. The tuning is pretty high approaching 38Hz and you'll need a good amount of bracing. After bracing you will be scraping the minimum recommended box volume of 3ft^3 per driver and will be into the tuning range of 38hz.

It will not matter where the wires are. They are internally wired together, ie right + is the same as left + same with negative terminals. There is only one channel you just have two sets inputs for ease of wiring multiple subs.

resistance on power/ground
NB50 replied to blakflash's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Just for future reference, you can not measure resistance with power applied to the circuit. This means you must disconnect batteries, capacitors, amplifiers, turn car off, etc. They will give you a false reading as you've seen. All you should be measureing is the wire run, nothing attached to it. -

Are you taking measurements with the battery hooked up? -
Measuring amplifier output (wattage)

can't believe I forgot about distortion. -
Nice.

I was going to say the Z V.2 but that is out of your budget. IIRC those like smaller enclosures also.

ZED news update - SSA Car Audio Forum Found the thread, its kinda old but I think he still might do them. It may take a bit of time as he may be backed up with his current production amplifiers. Then again I don't know, all you can do is call/email and ask.

Contact ZED Zed Audio Corporation He'll be able to fix it and might even be able to upgrade it.

Stetsom for the variable subsonic filter. -
So I have a friend that runs a charity and has signed up for a chance to win some help from the Pepsi Refresh project. The charity deals with helping children living in under privileged conditions in Macomb County MI. The Pepsi page can explain more then I could. Provide immediate shelter for homeless children & their families. | Pepsi Refresh Everything We could really use your help in voting for us everyday till June 30th.

Measuring amplifier output (wattage)
NB50 replied to Typicaljawaiian's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You need more then just a volt meter to calculate power. Watts = Voltage * Current. You can figure it with knowing your actual impedance of the speaker (at that frequency and time) and voltage or current but because a speakers impedance changes with frequency, power, etc, you need to measure voltage and current. Then you can calculate the power and resistance. -
Hmm, weekend of massive amounts of alcohol, food that is bad for you, and golf and I end up loosing ~4 lbs.

] hey man i live in macomb also. i will vote for sure. and if you need any help with anything let me know Thank you, they do a bunch of fund raisers and such from golf outings, steak dinners, dance parties, etc. If remember I will try to keep you updated on when and what fundraiser is going on. yeah for sure man. i work inside of costco. and i can get alot of info out to all the costco's in MI they love helping the kids Great, thank you again. One event coming up is a charity poker tournament at Snookers on hall rd & 53. The only thing is there are a bunch of charities there and you don't get to pick what charity you play for, there is a mediator there that tells you who to get your chips from.

Power distribution will be off, the two in series are going to be receiving less power then the one you paralleled them with.

Enjoy the beer cart girls. X2 Had a couple friends that were beer cart girls and it would be worth picking up golfing for Oddly the course doesn't have a beer cart while were there:peepwall:. No matter we have loads of fun driving back to the clubhouse just to do some shots every couple holes.

The volume calculator is giving you a gross volume, which you can't use when calculating the tuning. Your port is going to take up volume and change the net volume and tuning frequency. Port area is also on the small side.
