Thats what I was thinking, both amps will have a plexi cover with grey casing and both made by Zed. You cant beat that anywhere, thanks for the input as we are on the same page. I'll be able to tell how well they match up with my Leviathan when mine arrives.
-
Yeah no problem on the design. If you plan on keeping the Boss the Kronos wouldn't be a bad option as it should kinda match aesthetically with the clear plexi tops.
-
I thought you just picked up the Boss.

An If / then function would work well in there. Dont know the cell references but something like IF(TOTALS<20,0,TOTALS-20)

Yep, they are the tens, with the upgraded suspensions and copper coils. Why didn't you get full dustcaps? The full dust caps aren't available on the ten's yet.

Nail gun or screws, doesn't matter to much. They are just there to hold the wood together till the glue dries. I've used both, I like the nail gun because of quickness and not having to change bits. If you use a nail gun I would keep the clamps on a little longer to let glue set. Screws are nice if you have more then one drill, one for drilling a pilot hole and another to run in screws, you can probably remove clamps a little sooner then a nail gun.

You are not going to notice the 15 watt power difference between the sundown and the boss. The only thing you would have to decide is if you would need the extra crossover functions of the sundown.
-
The connection is broken somewhere between where you hook up the wires to the speaker and the voice coil. Can be caused by to much power, incorrect amp settings, bad box design, etc and/or a combination of those.
-
I'll have to pick one up and yes. the amp and wires were all good. The sub wouldn't play and i would push on the cone a lil and it would come on for a sec then stop playing. That sounds like a connection problem in the tensil leads.
-
lol, I just find it amusing. Every year the fans are saying it with a glimmer of hope and enthusiasm in their voice. I just let em go and say we'll see when the season starts, cause I couldn't care less.
-
Lions fans must be clinically insane then, I swear I hear it every year. "We got a good looking team this year" and every year they suck.

The old Human Reign amps would have been sweet in there.

Honestly not to be a dick but I am not a fan of this "brand X sub needs this much power to be good" (which is generally over rated RMS). I have an ICON on ~500 watts at most if I turn the bass knob up and it is more then loud enough for me, I ran Flatlynes on 250W a piece at most (pair of 12"s) and they were more then loud enough (both setups were in sealed enclosures). I'm beginning to lean to "loudness" being as subjective as something sounding good. When I say this some people only need ~130db from 25Hz to 50Hz. and don't care about hitting a bijillion DBs at one lone frequency. I guess in short what are you really expecting out of the setup, be as descriptive as you can.

I'd go LI's or SA's. personally I'd probably hold out for the LI's simply cause I've used IA subwoofers and have been happy with them, although sundowns will likely get the job done
