good o-scope for a good price
NB50 replied to irvin productionz's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
More then enough to set gains with and nicely priced @ $150. Also a good site to do business with, purchased from them with good experience.http://www.tequipment.net/Velleman_hps10se.html -
Basically it is just borrowing your computers unused cycles to crunch numbers for different projects. Like a cure for cancer, search for extra terestial life, etc.

IIRC it was described as tetris gone bad. Two N2 motors in the supergauss configuration.

In need of a fairly large 2 channel.

Hot damn that's what I'm talkin about. Still does you no good. Its a four channel amp. Don't have any experience but I'd be curious on these, although a little out of your price range. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18880_Boston-Acoustics-GT-2300.html http://www.woofersetc.com/p-8622-gt-2200-boston-acoustics-2-channel-900w-gt-series-amplifier.aspx -

Two totally different drivers. With different goals.

Having dealt with all three of those companies and using one of those subs. I would choose IA over the other two. But your box might be to small for the IA.

PG Xenon - No Gain Control
NB50 replied to MikeMartel's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
The gain is right next to the control that says bass, it says SENS and has a range from ..2-8V. http://download.phoenixphorum.com/Manuals/Amplifiers/XENON/xenonampmanual.pdf -
Because it has always sounded better to me that way.

Small update, built a new box that is for a single 12" sealed. Had a Skar VVX-12 in for about 2 weeks and then took it out and put the flatlyne in the box. picture of the box and skar.

What did it sound like? It has been a long time since I have had that box. I can recall I had a Cerwin Vega V-max and no matter what enclosure I put it in I didn't care for the sound of it. When I put it in the ABC I could actually tolerate it.
-
I was going to say the second is a TQWP. I did a ABC a while ago, heres mine. These things are really heavy when done as a slot port.

They look like RE HC motors to me.

DMMs check for clipping now? Where the hell have I been? If youre talking about an oscope, where do you get them for $150 new with warranty? Hmm... You post an ignorant post, you get an ignorant reply Never said a DMM would test for clipping, but I would rather have a tool that is capable of doing more then one thing for the price. Then having something that does one thing and one thing only. Oscilloscope $150 http://www.tequipmen...an_hps10se.html
-
This should be priced at around $30 anything more and it would be a real big waste of money. I'd much rather have a good DMM then this and you can get a scope that will do more then you need for audio for $150.

Luckily you didn't. I did and am not at all impressed with the customer service I had. Granted I got the sub but it was like pulling teeth just to get it. I was not going to share that conversation publicly, thought I would leave it up to you if you wanted to share your experience. I was going to post my experience in the thread, but it would just get lost.
