Any plans on a d2 ohm coil version? -
Been doing the Tv antenna, hulu, and netflix for a few years now. I like it but netflix and hulu is getting a little stale now. Only keep them for when my programs don't record right or shows not on antenna.

why amp shows clamped wattage low?
NB50 replied to ftj_85's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You need a ammeter and a multimeter to calculate impeadence. You cannot just measure it with a multimeter with power applied to the circuit, it will give you a wrong measurement. -
Blind test. Amplifier A vs amplifier B.

Moved for you. More maximum demensions you can use would help.

Try these for the leds, work well on the things I've used them on. And it it doesn't dim enough I double them up. http://www.amazon.com/LightDims-793573834232-Original-Strength/dp/B009WSJNCW

Have him measure his lead resistance, could be using a cheaper meter.

2 svc-3k vs 1 bc5500

This. Between running an amp out of spec and running some in spec, I'd always choose to run within specifications. -

I bought a fixed vise for general use and found it to be a pain going to it all the time, so I picked up a wilton portable vise. I can use pretty much any place. Just an idea. not a bad idea.

Looking for some recommendations on a bench vise. I'd only be using it for general home use, re gripping golf clubs, sharpening blades, cutting and etc. I'd like to stay around 100 bucks. Was looking at this one http://m.sears.com/product-details/p-00951888000P?partNumber=00951888000P&sid=I0084400010000100600 And also remembered I could possibly get a discount from matco, and they have a 4.5 in and 5.5in

What to look for when buying a used amp
NB50 replied to EddieC's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Have the seller hook it up, don't hook it up yourself. Play the amp until it warms up and even after to make sure it doesn't overheat. -
You wouldn't believe how much that happens, so much we have started taking their keys and licenses. I've heard of numerous people also getting seriously injured from drivers leaving while people are still on the trailers. You should have a dock lock that locks the trailer to the building which the only one who can release it is the forklift driver. Ours is card access once you lock it on you can unlock it. Yes we have dock locks, but I've also heard of them being ripped from the building. Depending on if the dock has a slope the drivers have to gun the truck to get out tearing out the dock lock. Takeing their license is very good insurance they won't leave without it.
