BTW, if anyone cares about who I am, my name is Brad. I second the Bl start. Kick it off with a BL and a SAZ1500D. Be gentle on the gains and be kind on the volumn. If you want more, toss in another BL and another SAZ1500D. Then you are not going overboard to start with and you have the option of having a great system to work with if you do move up to the second... And there are a few people running over 1500 Watts to a BL, just be smart about it and get it fully loaded!

Just out of curiosity, why dont you go with a pair of BL 15's. Should fit in 6 cubes, should handle 3k RMS with upgrades, will cost you about 100$ less ($678 for 2 full loaded BL's vs $756 for 4 SSD 12's no options--Add another $20 for copper), and is close in actual cone area... Obviously up to you, but I am just tossing you a suggestion...

Fixed... Let us know how the BL's sound The sundown is better warranty, likely cheaper, and strappable. If you are running 2, I would suggest the 2 Sundowns strapped and dual 1Ohm woofers ran at 1 Ohm.

I am fairly sure you cannot have the coils together, though I may be wrong... You are very right. My friend sent me the thing saying both. My bad. ok so jus the flatwind. You will be better off with the copper, it will allow the sub to drop lower and because you are only feeding it about 600Watts per sub, you wont need the flat (which increases power handling).

Are you sure you are actually running at 2 Ohms? Did you check with multimeter?

I have a sundown 1500 that I will be getting soon, but I am trying to decide if I should go with the Sundown and a 15" BL fully loaded or if I should buy 1 10" BL fully loaded and wait probably 8 months for another sundown and BL 10". So can anyone tell me what the 10" BL sounds like, i have never heard a 1700 Watt 10" sub before...
