If it's so easy, then why don't you go ahead and do it. he doesn't have the templete? take an exact template and go find a machine shop to make it. i'm sure i could find 20 of them that would do it in the amount of time these poor guys have been waiting. i'm sorry but this is outrageous how long these guys have been waiting. hell mine was supposed to be done but i wasn't near as faithful to prepay and it looks like that was the right choice unfortunately. Bitching like infants isn't going to make anything happen faster. Ask for a refund or wait.. You guys think what?.. That he'll only update this thread when he is asked too? No. When Troy has an update he'll update the thread, that simple. your right, this is the way a vendor on a forum should run his business. my bad. i looked passed that

Help Come Up With A New XS Power Slogan
profundus-sanus replied to Nathan@XSPower's topic in XS Power
xs power. need we say more? xs power. according to chris, we've got enough cowbell. -
I was pretty sure I sent you a PM? If you didn't get it my mistake, I'll send another. You shouldn't have to wait 4 months on the Expedition, maybe a month or two at best. Are you located in SC? I've seen some Nemesis guys at the Sumter shows and I could even bring it to you and install it at a show if you'd like. I'll take this to PM, but I definitely will have a bracket soon. Kryptonitewhite, I thought you were selling your van? I still don't have a donor vehicle to make a bracket for you, but believe me as popular an SPL vehicle as you have it is on the list when I can get one made. Troy i never got a pm, but its all good. like i said, i'm not in a hurry but did want to make sure it was possible. also thinking i would rather a triple setup, so i can do 1 stocker on 12v and 2 mechman smds on 16v. i'm in SE nc, about 50-60 miles north of myrtle beach

anybody home?

not in a rush, but looking for a dual setup for a 2002 5.4L expedition. not worried if it takes 4 months... but whenever you can do it i'll have cash waiting.

lulz. No one knows what every setup will sound like. If they did, there wouldn't be any competitions. Installation can make/break the end result. You can swap out the same equipment from vehicle A to vehicle B, with significant output increase or decrease... Next, I don't know what your definition of "hit pretty hard" is. When I first heard a bass car, it had two lower line rockford 12"s and 300watts, I was giggling from the bass, thought it was awesome. Six months later I got a nice setup and got use to it. Jumping back in my friends car with the RF 12s, couldn't really tell there was bass. Point is, depends what your use to hearing. Might do 138db at the headrest, might do 135, maybe 142, maybe 136, or even 143... who knows. Sorry if I sound harsh, but it's the truth. Don't forget to post a build log! LOL... It was kinda a rhetorical question... I figure it would be decent... I remember how impressed I was with my buddies system back in 94... he had two crappy 10" Kenwood subs, crappy kenwood amp... and a jvc tape deck... LOL... I think that setup did like 135 when he had it measured... he had the two 10's in a big sealed box... lol Thanks for all of the input though! Have you had any previous setups? What were they like? ever meter them? ever been to a comp? Yeah... I have had a system... last system was two 12" Crystal CMP's (sealed)... on a JBL 1200.1 I had JL Audio 5.25 TR series coaxials... and JL TR series 6x9's... JBL 50.4 (I think that was the amp)... car was deadened with brown bread... all in a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix... Alpine 9835 HU... 6 inch LCD's in the headrests... and passenger visor!Never measured it... never competed... but it bumped nicely! My new set up will be: 2 - 12" SA 12's SAZ 1000d SAX 100.4 CDT Audio CL 69 6x9's CDT Audio 6.5 inch (will be HD series) Will have to leave stock headunit in the 2011 Dodge Charger... due to all of the functions... will prob add a JL Audio Clean Sweep... should be pretty nice sounding. clean sweep is probably the best route, so much integration going on w/ these new headunits that a cleansweep is cheaper than the dash kit, lol.

Can someone from DC Power Contact ME!!!!
profundus-sanus replied to RHoughton1's topic in For Sale/Wanted
best of luck to the OP. sad to see this stuff happen, especially with site sponsors. -
that sucks.. thats exactly what i was waiting for was a n1 18. Get a Q18", they spec very similar, the Q has a bit stronger motor. but... does the q weigh more?

The goal is to saturate the top plate, not the pole piece. Neo is a lot stronger than ferrite, as you probably know. you sure? why would you want all the magnetic force on top of the coil rather than all around it? and i definitely know neo is much stronger than ferrite When you saturate the top plate you concentrate all the flux on the gap where the coil rests. Yes the pole piece is saturated as well, that's just because the top plate is saturated though gotcha. i'm sure i just don't understand how magnetism, gauss, flux, etc all travels/exists so i'll hit the books on all that.

i'm no engineer... but i don't get how the neo on the side like that would evenly saturate the pole? i feel like that might be a common concern as well when people look @ it on the site.. not doubting your skills in any way.. I'm actually legitamately interested as i will likely buy a n1.. I've been waiting for a lightweight woofer with some motor force.
