Hey guys I've got a question for ya, on the 100.4 you can run 2 mids and 1/2 subs on it right? I'm not sure on the wiring on it, I think I might be right though? 100wx2 @ 4 ohm stereo (mids) and 320W x 1 @ 4 ohms Would that be right for two mids and a sub on it? What I have now is a 1500, and a 10" FI BL in my s10. All I really listen to is hard rock anymore, so the 1500 I have now is more or so less useless to me now. Also could it be wired all 4 to mids/highs and have a sub run off of it also? I'm not sure in my wiring lol.. Would trading a 1500 for a 100.4 be a decent deal, or no? Hey guys, I have an s10 with a FI BL fully loaded 10" and a sundown 1500D on it. I have an alpine CDA-7893 HU, with polk audio coax speakers in the door and dash. I have already put sound deaden-er in the doors. What I'm asking is what amp and component speakers would you guys go with in an s-10. The door speakers are 6.5" I recently took out my sub and amp from my truck and I'm loving the leg room back. So whatever I get out of selling them is what cash I will have to put into a new component set. Im thinking 330 shipped for the amp, and I'm not sure on the sub yet. I'll probably go with buying a used 125.2 amp, or maybe something different. Would you guys go active or passive for the speakers? I should probably have around 300 dollars or so left to spend on them, I mainly listen to rock and metal.

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting my dad some new speakers for his vette. I'd like to get him something that has good SQ, around in the 2-300 dollar range. It would still be ran off of the stock head unit. I think its got 5 1/4" in the door with a tweeter in the top of the door panel. I would probably also look into putting some deadener in the doors like second skin or something. Whats your alls suggestions?

i have a sundown on mine, it handles it like a champ, i took it to a comp just playing around with it, i got 137.1 on the TL in the kick pannel in my truck with a box tuned to 32hz 1.2 cubes, im 102% sure i could get 140 DB's out of this thing, when i ran my volts was dropping mad low, stock alt FTL lol EDIT: 140 with some electrical and box changes

well first off, i have had my BL about two weeks now and i love it, no problems what-soever with it, I have a sundown 1500D on it, and it takes it like a champ, I eventually want to put my cousins old school phoenix gold amp on that does around 2200 watts on it once i get a new alt and see how it likes it here is how it arrived to my house opened the package to see this it is kinda crooked but all is well here is my amp and sub wire on the amp 2/0 welding wire and here is where i ran it through the firewall, along with a 10AWG for my headunit and some 18AWG for my alarm right here is my box design 1.2 cubes tuned to 32 Hz, My first thoughts on it was i was really impressed, alottttt louder than my two 10's i had sealed in my truck off of 150 watts rofl, I was impressed with how good it sounded on rock music, and how loud it is on rap and whatnot. It moves tons of air just to be a 10" pics of it installed i still need to take though

No, its on DC volts nope checked those too they were on and i dont have any xovers on my HU, and i havnt even played with them on my amp, what do i need to have those set to?

i just put in my sundown 1500D and it turns on, but nothing comes out of it volts or anything

im fixing to wire up my 1500D to one sub, how do i go about doing it, just use one + and one -?

In order to get a ported box just perfect could you just punch in your cubic feet what you are needing in your box, then get the port dimensions and figure up the displacement of this inside of your box and add in sub woofer displacement. After I add these up could I enter my Height, Top and Bottom depth, then using my length as my variable to figure up how many cubic feet I need? In other words say that I have a sub woofer that has a displacement of .11. Then i figure up a port that would displace .2 cubic feet in a box. I'm needing 1.2 cubic feet after sub and port displacement. So the box should be 1.31 cubic feet inside?
