im confused, are you talking about dips and peaks in the fiberglassor the bondo overing the fiberglass? if your talking about the fiberglass, just sand down the tall peaks or watever a reasonable amount since your covering it ll with bondo. if your talking about dips and peaks in the bondo, the easiest way for me to solve this was with a knife. i basically cut all the lumps and such off with a knife until it was fairly flat, then i hit it with a sander to smooth it all down. but using the knife technique saves ALOT of sandpaper. sorry if i competly answered wring though cuase your post confused me lol.

perfect for horns.........if only i knew your 8 incher would extend that high befor i bought my horns lol. but nothing wrong with 3 ways i guess how loud do these suckers get with nominal power. im interested in hese but having something that get LOUD is a must. becuase having something that will ke up with my horns would be kinda nice, instead of dwarfing the power going to them and cranking everything else up. how well is it so far in terms of accuracy? and those OHHH so fast kick drumms.

yeah i like "the audiophiles choice" i think when you talk about bass, people already make the big bass thumping crappy sounding company connection. i would make sure it makes a SQ representation becuase everything you make sounds phenominal

get 2 15s. wow damn now i think about it just 1 12 was hard enough for me to handle much less 2 15's. but if your a big basshead youll be better off with 15 since they handle lows better. but all the magnums are retarded accurate with every note. they are like the best SQ driver available,

i got about half wayout with it but i got a bit scared cuase it bowed a lil so i didnt go the whoe way . but hell im 150, and my amps is like 5. so its sturdy enough for me in that respect lol.

well i figure, with tat hole i can pretty much fit any 12-18 in sub sealed. and s thats all i need.

hey im looking for a awesome SQ tweeter for my diy setup. 300 or so buck a pair. any sugjestions? all i found so far is morel supreme . can anyone tell me the diference between the 110 and 130 version of those?

i would go for about 2.8 or so sealed, if its not big enough add polyfil and try that, and if it to big for you put it some blocks or somthing to take up some space. rmeber if you build big you can take away but its much harder to get it bigger.

why only a jl 500/1 on the mag?

well i would think the RE's to have the edge in spl but i dont think they can take the mags in SQ. and the loew you tune the better the SQ well get.

as i said earlier i was gunna give a review of these corectly when i got a worthy amp. well i decided to swap them into by dads truck. still no crossover so i just eq'd the lowend out as i liked. and they were running free air. ill be making kickpannels soon so lowend should dramatically improve and it will be safer to try low end hehe. the amp was a 50x4 alpine so each morel was getting 50 watts i played a variation of soft/hard rock song. evanesence, van halen, trapt, nicklback, disturbed, stained. afyter messing with the 3 band eq( yes only 3 band) i thought holy **** ! they were so bright, so clear. not a hint of distortion. absolutley mind boggling. i was seriously debating whether or not i was going to need tweeters lol. and this is free air! off axis was just as good. if i pointed them directly away from me they got a bit more warn and lost high end of course but to tell you the truth it was the same if not better than the respoce the truck already had! and efficeincy came to mind. these things were friggin cranking off 50 watts with the gains down. his in dash speakers were unheard/ drowned out becuase these were so loud. and they begged for more. id say they were only half way to linear excursion. super awesome midrange speakers. crystal clear, sharp, snappy, and accurate! well worth 90 bucks a pair ( though retail is about 300). i absolutley highly recomend these to anyone. and yes i know i posted non sub stuff in a sub forum but hey i like to keep you informed . soon ill be doing that mag 15 review!!!!!!

well today i fried my backup frontstage ( just little 4x6's) well since that gone i have to buy something new becuasr the 4x6's are my only units with weeters. That means i cant get my darn 15 inch magnum!!!!!!!!! grrrrrr i was so mad today. but on the bright side im gunna replace those 4x6's with some Morel SUPREME's. but now that meANS i gotta go make kick pannels and istall the morel wr-4s to lol :thud:

yeah well now il be driving with little 4 incherrs a tweeter. for a while. i expect midbass to come midsummer. if im lucky the sub will come next year. just to much money for your average high schooler. but if i spen the little i got its going in right. with morel supremes whoot!!! tommorow im gunna try those morels again. im going to build some little boxes for the morels. something small enough to represent kickpannel volume and try it like that. i dont think i could go witht the midbass thhey put out now but that test was free air. the sleaed box will be huge difference. ad if that not enough ill port them. this way when i get it all ntsalled this next week ill know what kinda encloure to build for them anyways. i just wish i could test them ith more than a cheap legacy 50x2 with a broken highpass. and really wish i could low pass them in like the 5k range. they playing full range with high nd EQ'd out as i said earlier. wa svery suprised though to hear symbols and stuff out of them . very impressed so far.
