Why aren't those subs in the CRX facing up with ports toward the back? I bet it would net larger numbers if he remade the box(es).
-
Make sure you have a lot more port area than you did in your old box...that's a tiny port for 4 subs.

I would pay off my Blazer, put about 5K into lifting it, bigger tires, winch, etc. and then get an economy car for everyday use. The rest would go to ccollege and savings.

My friends and I decided to use our 4WD this weekend, so we headed up north to the dunes at Silver Lake. It was me in the almost stock ZR2, my buddy in a stock Cherokee, and another buddy in a stock Silverado Z71. None of us got stuck up there and we made it up every hill we tried (never attempted Test Hill though). If you ever have an opportunity to come up here, especially when you're driving, take it. I'm itching to go back already. Anyway, onto pics: Removed the sub, tied down the 2ch amp. On the way up. Almost there! Entrance trail! Test Hill...it's a lot higher than it looks. Our convoy parked by Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan Stuck at the top of Test Waterlogged the engine... My Blazer in a few years... Beautiful Spring Lake

You'll never have to replace a bulb if you get the LED one, and the LED one will be brighter too. DLP's are cheaper because the internals are a lot simplier, and it's an older technology.

What he said. Some of the new LCD's have a 120hz refresh rate that has taken care of that, however it is still present on most of the new, smaller LCDs (<46"). Yea I saw that too but that's around $200 every 1 to 3 years, depending on use. That is something I can easily tolerate. The bulb should last you 4-6 years, easily. If you haven't already bought the T.V. you might want to look into the new DLP's with the L.E.D.s...those are supposed to outlast the T.V. http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-HL61A750-61-...ref=oor_dp_e_rp Your local circuit city should be able to order that T.V. for you. The nice thing about going through Circuit City is that they offer a 60 day price match guarantee against any local competitors.

I've got some spray paint you can buy

polk monitor series....floorstanders and centre....any good?
Big E replied to meccalli's topic in Home Audio
This coming from the person with a Sony receiver and KEF speakers? Hypocrisy at its best. If you're solely looking to buy speakers, the Monitor 70's are a very nice floor standing speaker, and if you look at circuit city are being clearanced out so you can get a really good deal on them (getting the new TSI line up). Another set of great floor standing speakers are the Klipsch F3's (Better than the polk's, IMO). -
I'd love a black fitted hat But for now I think I'll order an XXL shirt...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/art...shops-year.html Looks pretty interesting...if it does come out I'll definitely be picking it up.

I approve! Nice doors -- those bushings on your door are gonna be cracking in the next few days I bet

Looks like the green goblin from Spiderman.

Those speakers look impressive until you realize it's just one 4.5" driver

Never heard of the "IB18"

I love the car, I just don't think it says "Camaro" quite like they hoped.

Yeah..I learned that the hard way...almost set some woods on fire. Thankfully it shot into the computer. Edit: There's two separate bombs here..the first one was a complete dud, the second one shot into the comp. then blew up. Another one to try is a sparkler fountain...we used 1002 sparklers...the total height of the fountain ended up being around 15 feet, but my buddy who was recording zoomed in way too far. Doing the bombs at night = pretty

I'd add another deep-cycle battery and go from there.
-
They do have this thing called a silverado SS AWD... I love the 4WD but I have no need for the extra height I'm with Penguin4x4 here...
-
x2 on the extra battery and also a 200A+ alternator. From the username though, I would deduct that you would also put 26" rims and run stock rotors and calipers...

Are you looking to be loud inside the car, or loud so your homies on the other side of town can hear you coming? If the latter, you're going to be thoroughly disappointed by the sound deadening. Otherwise, it shouldn't be too much louder...it'll just sound a LOT better. Oh, and FYI, once you get used to typing proper grammar, it's actually harder to type "internet lingo".

I'm also interested in an answer to this.

Any particular reason you don't want to use wood? You could use plexiglass...or fiberglass your own adapter plate.

If you're his friend you'd let him know and you'd go down to the dealership with him and make them take it back.
