Remember, it's not hard to wrap a wire in black duct/electrical tape so you can remember what wire it is

All the more reason to get a HO -
So...how many of these did you make? You never made the correction that I pointed out a while back "...the ICON can shake the bolts off your wheels and the fillings from your teeth, but only if you want it to"

If they were looking for free advertising, don't you think they'd send everybody the stickers for free? We're all willing to pay for the stickers because we're proud of SSA and want others to know about the great community here.

You'll cook 'er real fast if you're looking to run that low of an impedance to an amp not meant to handle it. Why not get a cheap plate amp? look at www.partsexpress.com for one
-
I'd suggest putting them in a box that's built for the subs, and not prefabbed, would be best, unless of course 2.5 cubes sealed is the mach5 suggested size, or the ported box is the proper size and tuning for them.

Well I plan on getting rid of my car pretty soon, so I didn't want to waste any of my 4 stickers on it , not to mention that I don't really want to advertise anything audio on my car until I get an alarm (and other "Security" features ) One, however, found its way here:

THEY won't disappoint, but your install very well may.

How do you come up with $190? Are you buying two MAW 12s? Otherwise you misread, and the price is $96 (ninety-six dollars) for the MAW 12, and that IS ridiculously cheap for what you are getting. Either way, $190 for two very quality subs is an amazing price.

Price shown puts the product on your doorstep.

Then why'd you ask?

They're in a bandpass box (presumably prefabbed) running off a sony amp, I'm sure it sounds like chit. Get a better amp and build a proper enclosure for those subs and I'm sure you'll stick with them...

double post...

I'd guess the Excel W18NX...

I paypalled them money for stickers...and now I got 4 fancy stickers , not to mention that I got them in a very timely fashion. I'd definitely trust buying from them again (with something worth more than $.02 )(plan on doing so in the near future....).

so even if get the amps installed by a sundown dealer no warranty (that sux) if there run at .5ohm? as for elec. i have a powermaster alt /2-1800's(up front)/5-2400's (in the back) what more would i need to run the 3000's Do you know of ANY amp company that'll warranty below 1 ohm? Sundown used to, but too many people were stupid with 'em, and long story short, they decided to pull the .5 ohm warranty. As for your electrical, what amps does your alt put out? It looks like you should be fine to run these with the batteries you have, as long as your alt. is putting out a decent amount.

If you really want to be unique, I'd say go for the SSA ICON (check out the shop here)...you'll be one of the few people in the WORLD with one!
-
Looks like he wants a daily groundpounder but doesn't know what would be good for that. Unique = Fi, or you may look at SoundSplinter, Mach 5, SSA, or DC Sound labs (basically anything on this site); loud = based on application, sound good = based on application. Give us a good budget range and a lot of us would gladly help you piece something together that'll make 'em laugh when you tell them what it is, then promptly shut them up after they hear it.

Cheers ^^...looks like I've ordered the first stickers
-
PayPal doesn't work...says "Please enter an amount greater than zero"...guess I'll be paying a penny more (Putting 0.01 for the amount works).
-
Now you're making me want to get a second Sundown SAE-1000D and strap 'em to one of these Must.....resist....temptation....must....save....for....3rd gen....f-body....

You've gone mad, Mark.
