i usually stack on massive amounts of carbs pre work out. I'll usually eat a pretty large pasta plate and add in 36oz of MHP's "Up Your Mass" mixed with milk about an hour or so before, then i'll have another "Up Your Mass" mixer after with a protein bar.

you guys don't have a Hardees'?

it works pretty well and seems pretty accurate. thats what i'm using to calculate my enclosure right now. remember to enter in all the values though, it was messing up on me when i just entered a single height and a single depth. i had to enter it all in the get the correct calculations

love the vid at 1:44

don't forget to press "select, start" after that sequence now it has me thinking, does anybody remember that cheat code? up, Down, up, down, L, R, L, R, a, b, a, b, select, start?

No, I wouldn't run multiple tweeters. And no metal/titanium/soft dome material has nothing to do with the cross points. You have to design a system as a system, not just a couple random drivers thrown together. PA = Pro Audio = Type of driver that sacrifices frequency response for sensitivity. Normally used in sound reinforcement which can be in nearly any environment. Chill's posts make it obvious his intent. now i had always thought you could cross a silk dome lower than that of a metal dome.

from the sheer volume and clarity of the whole front stage

i'll more than likelly end up getting the RF 360.3 to handle the processing of the whole set up. would you recommend getting a slew of tweets instead of a couple Bullet tweeters to handle the highs for a smoother transition? i know the bullets would have to be crossed over alot higher than some dome tweeters would. i could do a set up with like 3 sets of titanium domes? i know they cross higher than silk, but they would probably be better than bullets

i want something that i'll be able to listen to over the sub stage i have plannned and just for your average joe to hear and shit himself by mistaking clarity as sound quality. You understand where i'm getting? obnoxiously loud and clear "Pro" drivers.

thank you for that knowledge Impious. what would your recommendations be?

Bad electrical problem on ford escape
OuTLaWeD replied to djtomczak's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
try a DMM at the battery to get a reading. my bet is that your battery is either going or it's your alt. my expedition had the same problem, got a new alt and now everything is great again. -
you turned the gain up to 3/4? if you have a hot pre amp 4-5V then your sending a 100% clipped signal to that sub which in return will blow the sub so i hope you really don't care about blowing it, but doing it stupidly is even dumber. you can't make up for power or cone area by turning the gain up, the gain is not a volume knob.EDIT: sorry for the thread jack Lantz

your port is huge. i would take it down to around 50-60in^2, there is no need for that much port area plus it takes up alot more space in your enclosure.

weighted chins>one arm chins

see and thats what i was kind of thinking with going with the 8's and 6.5's at first, but then thinking about the range a PA speaker has was thinking that maybe an 8 would handle everything i needed.

i haven't completelly thought everything through yet. i was just going to start getting things piece by piece as i'm in absolutelly zero hurry to put it together. my plan is to put it all in next spring as i'm also going to be doing the Duramax Conversion to my truck as well. I don't want to run 10's or 12's in the door because i just don't think it would look good there. i know that with the 8's i can put it very close to the factory location and it will look factory when you look at the door panel, but a 12 in the door. . . . so if anybody wants we can make a "lets pick what ChILL should put in his truck" thread because i am totally open to suggestion.

man i know the movie The Avengers has been out for a while now, but i just watched it for the first time and it was absolutelly BAD ASSS!!!
-
there really isn't a component system out there that'll keep up with the sub stage i have planned so i'm going with a good set of PA's and if i need to add more then i will, but as a start i'm gonna stick with a set of PA 8's and a set of either Cendo FT1-se's or the equivalent. i think that should get me going
-
i'm still feeling shitty. my head still feels like it's going to explode every time i cough. can't wait for this crap to end
-
They will need some processing but when that's all said and done they'll sound pretty good. Much better than most of the typical suggestions. yeah, this will be my first attempt at running PA mids and tweets. i'm just hoping for something that'll sound decent and keep up with the sub stage when i crack them open.
-
yeah, i've decided to run 6 Gcon 15's in the Hummer and i think this is the best bet
-
I'm on my phone so I can not see your signature. Can you post the link to your build log so I can check out your ride ??? i don't do build logs. i suppose one day i might though maybe
-
your right! those BMS mids look sexy as hell.
-
you do have a point. i'll pry just end up running the 8's
