Agreed. If there is an OEM recone available for your sub, rather stupid to use anything else. This whole frankenwoofer thing that caught on with the internet crowd is one of the many ridiculous fads going on right now. Having a "custom" sub isn't "cool"...in most instances all you end up with is a turd of a sub that doesn't have any engineering behind it's design or even have known TS parameters. This is what I've been trying to tell them the whole time. Just because the sub plays music again doesn't make it good. Does David provide T/S parameters for his recones? Does he know the T/S before they do the recones? Its just a bunch of parts thrown together without any engineering behind it, like said before.

Having people see that enclosure and see how the front is wide open and not understanding how it works is gonna be great! there aren't very many people around me who know much of anything to do with car audio

I've looked at well over 5,000 shoes this morning and I have come to the conclusion that manufacturers are catering to the black community far more than the white. You know that some things just look better on a black guy than they do a white guy and neon green with neon blue or neon yellow with neon red and so on just don't go well on a white guy imo. I have yet to find a good pair of everyday shoes that are comfortable yet still look good. I found a possible Nike Air Max shoe that may be able to work. I just have to see them in person now and try them on.

Stack the hog pins on top of each other. The hogs on bottom will eat the shit and you save on feed. You don't want them to roam either. That just burns energy you want them confined as possible. Though that could work I don't think you could get the same flavor out of the hogs near the bottom. Remember, we want quality and a decent price

Its all in what drivers you use and what enclosure you put them in. for distance if you have a driver that has an fs of 50hz and you shove it into an enclosure that's tuned to 30hz its not gonna sound great at all. Also that same drive put in an enclosure tuned to around that 50hz range isnt going to be able to dig down deep because the tuning frequency of the enclosure had to be raised quite a bit. Now on the other hand if you have a driver that has an fs of around 30hz and tuned the enclosure to 30hz it would sound a lot better and be able to dig deep into those low frequencies.

If you keep adequate room it'll be just fine. Also if you can do a common chamber for the subs it'll be easier to build a single port for them

Most people do it the easy way with subs and port front facing. I like to have the subs forward, port down. Just make sure you leave yourself enough room under there. You could absolutely use the ID8's in a sealed enclosure with a pretty good responce, but you will loose a lot of output.

imo the Sundown SA8's would be a better choice for you. Youll have the ability to port at a lower tuning frequency so you have a wider frequency spectrum. i think this is your best option.

There is no real engineering involved, the sub is basically just thrown together. Do they know the t/s parameters of what they build? You can't just throw parts together and just expect something good

I'm going for a full out bulk this winter also. I gained 30lbs of lean muscle this summer, but I'm really hoping to gain some major weight over the winter.

I do drop sets with everything. Like with benching I'll do my absolute max for 5 reps then drop a plate and do 5 more and so on so forth. I find by doing this I build pretty quickly.

OHP Feet together, as if standing at attention in the military, is called the Military Press. Feet shoulder width apart is called the Overhead Press. Military Press FTW I've seen a guy in the gym doing seated overhead presses with 220 lbs. Beast... Military presses are good, but i personaly prefer the Arnold press.
