he just wants loud over all and to have the clean deep bass. no distorion and sundown sub is a good sub for that if your not trying to empty ur wallet -

pretty interesting, guess this would only work for the same subwoofers. same brand/size/ t/s parameters

one good trick, check one of your door speakers to see if its really the sub or ur dmm, then continue with checking the sub(if the dmm works)
