Is this for daily? and did you choose daily or spl as an option? I'd be careful running that amp at .5 for daily. It puts out 2200 @ 1 ohm @ 12 volts already correct?
-
whats your final ohm load? and what was it before? .5 or 2?

8-12 sq inches of port area per cubic foot is a good start.

Look into Qs and BLs. Qs sound amazing in sealed enclosures and sounds like that would be the perfect setup for your taste. look onto their forum link on here and you will find more info on this subwoofer, and they also provide cut sheets and box recommendations.

Got my recone in today. It was shipped very fast, like 10 business days, but there is a problem.... Its the wrong impedance. I checked the leads multiple times and even used a different dmm to make sure my chinese one was working properly. There was no labeling on the coil identifying the model or resistance. If you could contact me about this as soon as you get a chance that would be great. Thanks

agreed, and your equip won't be strained too much,

I would say 2k to each sub in the right enclosure would take care of those in the right enclosure.

this looks sick? are you going to be doing any bracing?

This is looking awesome. Everything is really clean previously, I'm sure it will turn out great.

Did not see one on their webpage. Ah.

I personally like Infinity for my mid range. I have a pair of infinity reference 3 ways and kappa 3 ways and they both express the midbass well. What do you mean by theres a spot to mount an 8"? factory replace an 8"?

These posts are all good things to consider. Why not just get a 4 channel as you may want to wire more speakers in after these. -
None of my subs work despite different setups

I've had this happen to me twice and both times it ended up being my rcas. They just go bad sometimes if you don't buy top notch equip. -
those amps are strappable?

These specs are for a different driver. The one I have is the last of its kind made in 2005. This is for the new driver with a split coil design.

I've acquired an RE xxx v3 with the xbl^2 technology I think its a 2005 version. I have just ordered a recone from Fi along with a 15" 12 spoke basket to get some work done in the trunk. I was thinking of putting this 15" driver into a 3.23 cu ft sealed enclosure. but I'm open to ported, displacement on this thing is like .23 cu ft. I am running a mmats d300hc (no subsonic, eq, boost, exc.) and it pushed an Fi Q to the max. in my previous setup. I do not doubt its power and capabilities of the amps control for this set up. I am very impressed with the Qs ability to get loud while sounding oh so sexay both sealed and ported. Has anyone ran these drirvers in the past and want to share? Car is a 2004 pontiac gp, haven't felt the need to sound proof, so I don't feel the need to increase power as of yet. I also have a mmats d2000.1 that I am not using in this setup. I will try and post a build log to an extent but can anyone input on a recomended enclosure size for this driver, maybe use polyfill on this sealed enclosure?

a volt meter to monitor your system voltage is very helpful to your car and the user, A digital multimeter, is a tool which is also very helpful to a car audio enthusiast for retaining information. Didnt know which you were talking about. I would say if you plan on running that amp @ 1 ohm eventually you can go ahead and run 1/0. You should also look into getting another battery for your charging system. As far as ofc or cca, you can go ahead and spend the cash on copper, since you may keep it in your possession for while anyway. But if you dont plan on running 3k anytime soon you can save yourself some money and buy cca.
