thats what im thinking and the power will be clean of course I wouldn't even think about burping it with that kind of power unless I was sure I had the electrical to do it... but I was thinking 2 times the rated power and the sub would be fine.... I need to get my spl scores up....
-
If one does decide to get this option does this by any means help increase the subs BL and if so do you guys have a estimated number...
-
Any updates with the T/S parameters...

Mic termlab DB Drag 140.4 bassrace 129.4 2 SSD's copper coils 1 saz-1500d Soon to bump up the the 139.9 class as I can do that but I want to do a more consistent score before I jump up to the class.. -
Well the standard Q's are rated at about 1000 watts and if your amp puts out 2000 watts should be good for the Q's.. If you get the standard SSD's they are rated at about 800 watts so you would be risking blowing the ssds unless you know what your doing with the power. But if you get the Flatwind coil and or the BP power option for the SSD's shouldn't have no problems at all with the SSD's taking that power. Hope someone will chime in to correct me if I said anything wrong..

A pair of saz1500d's strapped or a saz-3000d I am looking to upgrade from my ssd's to FI-q's in the near future and would like to know when the release date is for the 3000d as I need them for the comps I attend? and also any comps down there in NC anytime soon?
-
My apologies for the confusion I actually live in Maryland but I do have family and friends that live in NC, Durham to be exact jus was asking about future comps because I would like to come down for the weekend this summer and go to a comp while im down there.. DB drag preferably
-
I wish I was a team member so I can get the amp that much sooner...
-
How much can these take cuz my saz-1500d is feeding them pretty well but sometimes it sounds like they can take a bit more power...???
-
Ok just seems like on certain songs they struggle as if they aren't getting enough power and I was thinking maybe a boost in power would help going from 800 watts to possibly 1000 watts.
-
I have a pair of ssds and I say nab the 10" ssd but prepare to feed them the power.... SSD's for sure..
-
Ouchhhh 300 emails is a tad bit...

I am loving those FI x specs, and it has a strong BL as well I wonder why these didn't sell as good as the others.. It almost seems like its a good as a subwoofer as a ssd but cheaper. Im no expert but looking at teh specs it has a stonger bl. more efficient, lower fs Did we miss out on one hell of a woofer? or I know I did. IT has a nice xmax as well.
-
Im loving those specs...

Ohh ok did he say what kind of power they will be able to handle cuz I have a motor sitting in my closet that I may have to send in to get reconed also I kind of liked the napalm.
-
Did you get your napalms reconed yet Loud01blazer?
-
thanks thats why im glad I posted this to have somebody go over my numbers..

Ok My max dimensions are 15" x 36"x 22" these total up to have an external dimension of 7.18 cu ft and I come up with internal dimensions of 13.5" x 34.5" x 21.5" that comes out to 5.79 cu ft internally I want 32 hz tuning so I came up with a port of 4" x 13.5" x 22" This enclosure is for 2 FI qs with the bp power option once I sell my beloved ssds of course. I am looking to do subs facing my trunk lid and the port unloading to the side with a flair of course so please somebody help me to let me know these numbers are correct and what is the total sq inches for the port.
