i've had the same problem. i uninstalled what ever driver it was on youtube and then re installed it. happend alot on my old cpu (read pile of junk) -
oh i'm certain your's would drop lower, his isn't to be musical. i'm going to guess he burps around 75-78 hz.

i had a problem with my tinsels slapping the back of my cone. thought i was clipping the sub because i could hear it. take a look at the felt under th cone and see if there is any marking there.
