here are a couple pics of the oz matrix power 10" sub. paid $70 shipped for it. i knew there was a crack in it though.
-
right in my second floor apartment?? lol
-
when i clamped my h2 at 60 hz the amp was doing 900 rms at 3 ohms. it was a dula 2 ohm sub wired to one ohm.
-
lol for people to young to know what an sase is it's "self addressed stamped envelope"
-
they don't do phone calls.
-
i say support ssa and get the icon!!

audio-neon. awsome guy to work with. had some shipping troubles but was very quick to fix it. thanks A++!!
-
i think the pricing is very nice for the level of sub that you get.
-
these would work well in a transmission line enclosure right??
-
like tz params?? nope. they said they had reconed a couple so i'm not too worried about it.
-
here are some quick pics of the tc9 that I reconed with an FI Q coil. new coil is dual 1.4's and three stiff spiders
-
hehe i have the same style box for a 12. looks good so far keep it up.
-
dual .7's are basically dual 1's. just about every sub's re sit's a little lower than the rated impedance. 1.4's=2's and .7's =1's

lol you're right it would be a 2 way. i was thinking four speakers, but i see where you're going. as far as the crossovers, the thing is a mini computer. I can have him program adjustable crossovers, but i'm most likely just going to use the crossovers on the amp for now. two channels for the tweets and two for the mids. The sub is nicely integrated, well kinda. i don't listen to it loud all the time. it's nice to have the huge head room though. which is why i want the sub control so i can turn it down, but every once in awhile i like to boom. it's by no means an sq car, more of a loud car with decent sq. -
lol it's not that good of quality, for some odd reason my cam didn't pick up the display to well, but it gives you a brief idea of the unit.
-
yes the one on the left is the original. lol yeah it's a little burnt. i'm sure i took the sub near it's thermal limits.
-
why would you need it at dual 4's??

yeah. the things i don't like are no crossovers and no sub control. i have the epic 150, but it doesn't really control the bass to much, just shapes it. i think there is a guy who programs these. i'm thinking he can program it to have crossovers. i'll be running a 4 channel amp and will be doing an active 4 way fronstage so i'm not to entirely worried about it though. definatly digging the 10 band eq though. -

lol, if anything it's an sx knock off.

i was surprised at what 139 at 29 hz felt like.
-
I like test disc's I use a test disc in addition to a dmm.
-
the only problem i had was the spiders elevated the surround about 1/4 inch from the basket, but that was on a tc9 motor.
-
i found it extremely easy. well easier than i thought it would be.
