    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Just went through the taxes for this year. Thought I was going to have a bill and ended up with a bigger tax return. I'm not really complaining but I need to get my withholdings in order.

Calling Moto back for the umpteenth freaking time trying to get my refund. Might just call the bank and get the refund today like I did with their bogus charge. Only issue with that is I'm worried if I challenge another charge they will challenge the first one. However, it is getting pretty close to the maximum 2 month time window.

Sounds like a good time to tell those union workers to fuck off and hire some non-union employees

Network gurus unite! My friend uses his phone for home internet. He wants to hook up his direct TV to the internet but needs ethernet. I figured it should be easy to hook up an old router, install dd-wrt and get it working as some kind of wireless bridge. Does that seem right? Edit: Just to explain the flow of data it would be Phone Hotspot to Wireless Router to Ethernet to Direct TV.

I had to do a bio screening a few months ago,I was suppose to fast after 12pm..The next morning the closer to the store I got the more my stomach rumbled..So I got a quart of chocolate milk..They didn't say anything about liquid..Of course they chewed my ass when I told them I drank a chocolate milk..My blood sugar came back in the low 40's..So the next day I had to go back and they checked it after I ate and they said I was fine...Did you not know what fasting was?

Google. There are dozens of websites dedicated to homemade jerky and smoked meats. I am going to check them out. More curios if anybody here makes there own and how they do it just to get a idea...I'm going to research and put my own little thing together, don't wanna really copy something off a website %100 .. I wan't my own original My father in law literally cuts strips of deer meat, seasons them with salt and pepper and hangs them in a cold smoke house until they dehydrate. He doesn't actually smoke them, he just uses the same small building they smoke it. He only hangs if temps are below 45 and not humid. They are some of the best pieces of jerky I've ever had.

Michael, I was going to post this when I originally saw your post about heart issues, but I really wasn't ready yet, but I'll post it now. Both my parents are amazing parents. They both drank and smoke but it NEVER got in the way of parenting, it NEVER got in the way of their job (that's not even something I can say as I did take a sick day because of a hangover before). It also NEVER got in the way of any kind of social engagement. They started out buying a 6 pack a day between them and as the money got better they just bought a case and it lasted for as long as it needed (which became not too long). My Dad ended up with mouth cancer, so he stopped smoking. It ended up not being a big deal and he actually still dips to this day, though I don't understand that logic. My mom ended up developing some heart problems which could not be linked directly to the drinking, but we know it was not helping. My mom was always go go go, she literally called my uncles one day to help her lift walls of our shop because she built them while my dad was at the deer lease, but lifting and holding a 20 ft long 16 ft tall wall was difficult. As she got into her late 40's she was still herself, she just didn't move as fast or do as much as she used to, which I'm sure had some to do with getting old. However, when she got the news about the heart she never made a real effort to cut the alcohol consumption. She did the medicine, but she hardly made any other changes. Earlier this year, she was upstairs at my new house finishing up cleaning from the demolition of the bathroom while we were out buying supplies. When we got back she had had a massive heart attack and by the time we got back there was nothing we could do. Just keep in mind the long term effects of your stress and your health decisions. She worked shift work for the last 25 years and she just had finished up a 60-day turnaround where she had about 3 days off the entire time. She also had started to drink some beer after her night shift (which she used to never do) to relax and help get some better sleep. All of it added up to a really unfortunate situation where the money she had saved during her turnaround ended up being used to pay for her funeral.

My cousin made one for his Go Pro and he gets some really cool shots ( obviously doesn't use it for just selfies.)

Not saying when I drink that I don't drink 5 drinks sometimes, but 5 drinks in one setting is considered binge drinking.

From here to Nassau is anywhere between 400 and 700$ per.My last trip to Europe was $780.I'm seeing stuff for ~400. With 2 people that's a $760 difference right there

Biggest reason to not go to those places is that the ticket cost eats much of the budget.

So the wife and I are planning a Caribbean trip this summer. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. We have been looking at all-inclusive (tries to hide from Sean), but we are open to anything. My Spanish level is very low (unfortunately ) While we are there we would be interested in kayaking, hiking and of course some time on the beach. I'm always up for good food.

I wear them out for more than school. I like having the toes protected anywhere witha shit load of people, drunks, kids, or where I may find a desire to use my feet for more than walking. Honestly my top three pieces of footwear are flipflops, my combat boots, and steel toed boots.I refuse Timberlands after having three pairs losing stitches in under 6 months. J And here I am essentially walking around in socks: Most comfortable "shoes" I've ever worn. I really like those "dress" ones. I could definitely get away with those at the office. Wife won't let me spend that kind of money on shoes like that though lol.
