    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

You best bet will be check the manufactures site for accurate dimensions due to the way they convert for aspect ratio numbers. Section width will change based on rim width, so keep that in mind if your concerned about width. I remember you talking about tires less than a year ago. Did you go through that set this quick? No, that's just when I started to realize I needed them. These tires have 63000 on them and would go longer if I was able to rotate them more frequently. (One wore out faster than the other)What size is your ideal? In normal people sizes 35x10.5-11x16 but no one makes that.

Why not sell your current tires to recoop some of the cost? Or are they shot and thats the reason your shopping? I run my tires down to the wear bar

I've been using tire size converter and it seems to do a pretty good job, but could always go for better.

What is the best site that shows tires avaiable? I don't need the prices, just want to quickly scroll through and see height, width, etc...

Ha, If I was serious I would go buy a 4.11 rear ring and then grab the 4.11 front that I have laying around, but I'm not going through that much work.

Can't stop looking though, lol. I wish I could throw on some stock 18s and roll, but with the lift I can have a max of 5" backspace (I think)

Quoted tires yesterday. Going to stick with the 315/75R16s unfortunately. I can't justify the extra $400 in tires before wheel costs to get a narrower, tall tire.

Thank goodness spring is here. Changed the oil in both the vehicles, clearing the yard, etc... Didn't get nearly as.much done as I'd hoped, but maybe I can knock some more out tomorrow.

So we had a hail storm last night (with 80 MPH gusts) and the cars got hit. Trying to decide what I'm going to do. Wife's hood. She also has dents on the rood and rear quarter and a good dent on the rear hatch (at a seam) My truck hood has some small dents, roof has a few as well. Guess my next step will be to take it to a shop for an estimate. My deductible is $1000, but if I do one vehicle I might as well do both, because I only pay the deductible once.

Nein. Of course the caveat being that is stove related. The cast will burn better. Cast pretty much defeats the purpose of a gas range. All of your ability to modulate heat is gone. When you don't want to modulate of course that can be an advantage. This also means when you don't have enough heat it will sear better, but that is due to a deficiency of the stove not a benefit of the pan.Wait..... I think cast actually radiates heat harder than stainless... Sears NY steak like a boss! Also hurtful comment about the coocktop bro. :'-( It shouldn't. I'm trying to think about it from a thermodynamic perspective. The cast iron has a lot of thermal mass so when you drop a cold (room temp is cold relative to 800°+) steak it has more heat in it to give to the steak. However the heat source below has to heat all the mass and you get a slow response. It makes it more imperative on cast iron that you have enough room to flip the steak to the hot side of the pan. With stainless you have a lot less thermal mass, so it heats and cools more quickly. If the heat source can't provide enough heat you lose the temperature. I assume that ideally, there is nothing between your steak and the heat source (i.e a grill) and the heat source provides all the heat you need, but a pan provides a better contact surface (i.e. touching hot air isn't a bad as touching hot metal) PS - Not saying you don't know this, just trying to write it out to understand my thoughts.

Cast iron is pretty much cast iron.<-never uses cast iron in the house, but a ton on a fire. I use cast for 90% of my cooking. I'm not used to the copper, so it gets used less. I think the cast Sears better also. J, I recommend not buying lodge because the way they cast it leaves a rough surface. In my opinion you should hit it with a grinding wheel to smooth it out if you had one. You can buy old one for cheap. If they are a little rusty it's not a problem. It's easy to clean up.

It was just a little well done Seriously you turned that into dog food.I always cook steaks well done usually too, but he deffinetly cooked it to farWhy? It is not for flavor or moisture lol. I wouldn't even do that to hamburger. Pointless to eat a steak like that.Bet you use steak sauce too, lol. No i dont really like steak sauce, but I guess it seems odd to me to have a steak pink, or bloody. I tried tri tip the other day at a resteraunt and i asked for medium rare which is something i usually do not do, still a little pink, but was too chewyIts not blood. The pink juice is water mixed with a protein that tints the water red.

old'ish news http://theksmith.com/software/hack-vehicle-bus-cheap-easy-part-2/ I hope everything goes as planed and I will have steering wheel controls on the Note 2 in the Jeep.... Wired that is easy, are you planning wireless? Wireless through OBD2 scanner. Also working with Vlad on an USB - I2S / SPDIF interface, he's already buiit the SPDIF version for his Audison Bit One. Chip change + some redesign. That way I can have I2S digital audio straight into the MiniDSP, in both cars. And YES, time for Timur on the Nexus. Timur on Nexus also means I can get MegaSquirt droid for when I MegaSquirt the Miata. Yay for tuning from the tablet. Dude you are a bad ass. Remember us when you make your first million.
