My wife and I have given up on Parsley. It never seems to add anything to our dish except for cost.

You said you have multiple. Could you setup a potential duct between multiple rooms to help you limp along in the event it happens again? That or have a spare AC unit. How sophisticated is the monitoring? Just curious

I feel ya. I've been killing it in the yard, but have itchy eyes and just general itchyness, which feels a lot like poison ivy, but luckily is not. Last year poison ivy kicked my ass and almost ruined getting to go to my best friends wedding. Among other reasons it was the worst time in my life and I keep getting the irrational/rational fear that if I get it again I will go back through that same time.

nice I deleted my post because the link was so bad lol

He saves them up over a while and then when they have a big party or something he ices them all down.

My buddies dad had it and he works at Budweiser. They give out beer for safety awards, but he just had to cut it out for a long while. He was also to the point of just sitting in a chair for his time off. Beer for safety awards...LOL

I got an idea for you for taking pictures. Wear a GoPro and figure out how to voice activate taking a picture.

Not drinking beer (not saying you do, but a family friend got it and he had to stop drinking)

When I did my bathroom the plumber wanted $1500 to hook up some Pex. I paid $100 for all the material AND tools and did it myself. I ended up doing the entire bathroom room for $1500. I also did the finish work but around here people aren't anal about the finish (though they should be) so there are some blemishes but it was cheep. In the future I will probably pay someone to hang drywall, mud and tape. Those dudes are some high speed artists.

So you let stuff get to room temp before you put it in the fridge? 140 to room temp is probably more than an hour for a big cut of meat. I have a chilling drawer in my fridge. I never let an hour occur outside of refridgeration.I also use my fridge freezer as a frost collector. ie, for quick chilling of things for the fridge or for the initial freeze before the freezer. Defrosting or adding heat to your freezer is even worse than the fridge as not only is it unsafe, but it ruins food. I try to keep a drawer in my freezer available for those times. Same with one of the "veggie" drawers in the fridge which all have a Quick chill option. That's pretty interesting, thanks.

J-Road, I'm finally on a computer and remember your music question at the same time. After seeing others responses and what you are looking for; I don't think I have much to add. Spotify is awesome, but it costs. I did get a 3 month premium membership for $0.99 and I enjoyed it, but I wasn't going to pay $8-$10 a month for it. One of my co-workers uses it and he absolutely loves it. But he's single so hes got the money I usually casually listen or listen for a specific mood (work out, rap before I play basketball, calming music at work etc.) Most of the time the Radio feature on Spotify or just normal Pandora is good enough for me, though getting rid of commercials would be awesome when listening to calming music. I also think that Spotify streaming is higher quality.

I would do it right the first time. If you regret not doing it full tilt, what happens? You either live with regret, or spend the money to re-do it. If you do it to the full amount, and look at it and say you could have skated by with just the paint, your out less than re-doing it.Plus if you decide to sell it later it increases the resale amount, and it would show great at the car show. J Just got off the phone with them. The total is 14,065 for show quality. I honestly have put so much work into this car, I know I would regret it. So ya, pretty much just pulled the trigger. Will have it media blasted by next Thursday. The dude don't mess around, and is on my level. What about doing some of the labor yourself? To me that would be tripping over a dollar to pick up a dime. I am not trying to reengineer the process or the guys job. The headaches involved could easily be avoided for a few dollars more.I picked a very competent painter for that very reason. I do not want to have to micromanage the job, just keep a hand in there enough to know the pulse. You have to remember I'm in the service field, and understand the creative process. Me trying to micromanage it is only going to fuck shit up. Gotcha, wasn't saying you should pull the rug out from under him; I just didn't know if maybe he specializes in a particular field and you would be taking some off his plate by doing the "dirty" work. Sounds like he's more of an artist though. Which is EXACTLY what you want for a paint job IMO

A vehicle he said he would never own again after his Silverado.

Eff Yeah! I would have done the same, but I always flip when I see what people pay for wheels.

How do you do the homemade mayo Sean?

I am living through you with this project. No doubt, me too. Its been a dream to build an LS Engine.
-
That's akin to me posting Looking to shave a few seconds on my time and crank up the speed. Any suggestions?
-
Run it again, it's not that accurate. Pretty much no way to "crank it up" unless you have a hardware issue holding you back

The economy that I'm suggesting would be coming from a thinner tire, not from the rim. The rim is just required to get the tire size I desire. What do you mean by fluffy? The reason I'm stuck on 35's is gearing. I'm geared at 4.56. I 'm not going to re-gear for a tire change. well, not this time at least. All signs really point to keeping what I got. I'll probably be keeping the truck another few years then one of 2 things. 1) Upgrade 2) Engine blows (Currently have 214K) and I rebuild it, making it a fun truck and having a car for DD. The wife will have the "family" SUV by then, so I may be able to get light towing needs out of that. I am keeping an eye out on the used market. I would mind some barely used for half price.

What were they? Younsayong 34.6 leads me to think it was 315/75R16 which is 34.6x12.4x16.I really hope you are right though.
-
You best bet will be check the manufactures site for accurate dimensions due to the way they convert for aspect ratio numbers. Section width will change based on rim width, so keep that in mind if your concerned about width.I remember you talking about tires less than a year ago. Did you go through that set this quick? No, that's just when I started to realize I needed them. These tires have 63000 on them and would go longer if I was able to rotate them more frequently. (One wore out faster than the other)What size is your ideal? In normal people sizes 35x10.5-11x16 but no one makes that.that's because those are marshmallows. Are you stuck on 16" wheels or why the funky size?I was looking to step up to an 18. Can't have any less than 34.6" (prefer 35+) and don't want anything wider than 11.5. Wheels need 5" back spacing (That may be too much). Also want a tire that's very tame on the street. That's why I settled on 285/75R18 but I don't think I want to invest in the rims as well as the $400+ extra cost in tires. Which is why I was looking at snagging some stock wheels but I'm still looking at another $1K total. Not sure if its worth it for very marginal fuel economy and looks.

It would require a 295/85r16 or so
