Guess I'm the pot calling the kettle black. There is a burger spot outside of town in the hills that a lot of cyclist hit up for the ride. Got to be real careful there with all the grease flying

Can't think of a comment that doesn't insult your boss and makes a statement about someone who is bike riding and taking a pit stop at a bakery.

After all the new knowledge, I ended up sticking with SPD-SLs. Got a discounted pair that is carbon, super stiff and way more comfortable than my original pair.

His videos of his falling are almost more impressive than the clean runs

A whole new world!

Are any of you guys up today on RVs? The wife and I rented one last weekend and really enjoyed it. I've been searching around for deals and my go-to is to look at gently used once but there doesn't seem to be much of a market or they aren't really discounted all that much. Wanted to see if any of you guys had some insight.

I'm still wildly confused. As far as I know there is SPD and SPD-SL. SPD is the two cleat design and SPD-SL is the three cleat design. The patent for shimano's design ran out so there are other competitors now, but they are one of the two copycated. The SPD-SL has different cleats that allow for different levels of rotational movement. I am unfamiliar with SPD and the rotational movement they allow. What confuses me is saying SPDs don't allow much float is saying that the two cleat design doesn't allow much float. Saying all the three whole stuff sucks is saying that SPD-SL sucks. That leaves no other options...

Really interested in your e-bike plan. Everything I've seen DIY is ghetto
-
I thought there was SPD and SPL-SL and the SL (or 3 cleat) was more restrictive.
-
So just roll with something like the 520s and don't look back? Trying to decide if I want something more stylish comfortable to walk in or something like what you showed, road shoes with cleats
-
Currently have SPD-SL type pedals but plan to switch to 2 cleat. Trying to decide if I get basic ones or ones that can be more easily pedalled in regular shoes.
-
Sean, or anyone who bicycles. Any recommendations on cycling shoes? My 10 year old pair finally gave out. They were 3 cleat "race" style. Light weight but goofy to walk in. I like the 3 cleat setup but would go 2 cleat for a more comfortable shoe.

Seems like every time you post a vid, I see something different than what you actually posted the first time and then when I reload later, it's the correct video. I swore the first time you posted this it was something about baking bread.

Got some boom boom pieces for today!

The Maker's Mark formula was actually decided by bread formula. The original distiller baked his family breads of a different grains. Naturally they preferred the bread with more wheat and a new legend was born.

Fathers day was bittersweet here. We had my dad, wife's dad and step dad all in. Cooked some pulled pork and the W made an awesome cake. However, my dad has had quite a few falls since returning from Acute Rehab, so we are going to have to start looking into better care for him, which likely means he has to live somewhere else.

Vinyl/stereo setup! Speakers have built in BT Record player is sitting on top of an Adcom amp currently not in use.
-
I just bought a pair of two-way, self powered, Bluetooth monitors to compliment the record player my wife got me for Father's day last year. Realize that at least I would use these instead of dreaming about the setup I was going to build that isn't happening.

Added link to what I was actually referring to lol.

I guess I don't really know. Everything with the caveat of "for my area" What's good to plant? When to plant? What to put in your garden? When to fertilize? How often should you really water? What signs does the plant show of being healthy or sick? For a corollary, this is what I read the first time I made pasta dough. I really enjoyed reading lots of ins and outs so I could recognize my rookie mistakes as I was making them and correct for it. https://www.seriouseats.com/2015/01/best-easy-all-purpose-fresh-pasta-dough-recipe-instructions.html

Hey grow guys, I'm looking to start an outdoor garden, but really don't have a clue. The wife put down 2 raised beds at our last place with a little success. The tomatillos breeding with the cherry tomato plant to make cherry tomatillos was pretty awesome, but completely accidental. I just want to have a source of information I can trust. I saw plans for some raised beds with under ground irrigation, which I thought was pretty damn cool. As with grass, I feel like I quickly get directed to some mega company that's like, "our super product will do everything!"

More fluffer photos! This time with the real camera

We were told she was a husky, but she outgrew that. Acts a lot like a German Shepherd, looks Great Pyrenees and Malamute

Crappy pic, but my dog and a deer in the yard this afternoon, just chillin.
