    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

33k miles a year and your not a product rep??!??!?! It was in college for a summer internship. I could stay at a friends, or drive an extra 15 minutes home and have free food and my own room.

Buying an extra beater for mpg worked out for me, back when gas was $4 a gallon and I was driving 128 miles a day round trip. I paid $1200 for the car, the gas savings paid off the car in the summer of work and I kept it for another 3-4 years, put about another $6-700 in repairs over the time, and sold it for $1000.

I get 10 in town/highway in town, but on long journeys when you just go 80 I can get closer to 20. I still have a problem with the gas pedal being used on the highway though so it is normally closer to 15 there, but gas is not an expense I pay attention to. There no way you could get 20mpg if you got that thing on the highway and just set the cruise at 80 for most of a tank.

So I dropped my coffee roaster (popcorn maker) and broke the motor mounts. With Christmas coming up, I was thinking an upgrade may be possible. What should I look for in the roaster market. I have no problem with it being an outside only type of roaster.

The best way to stay a bazillionaire and make sure no one gets a taste of that wealth is to give that wealth to the poorest. The minimum wage has destroyed the best resteraunt in MN. And several others. Those servers were making $25 an hour after the tips they were taxed on at a minimum. Most much more. Yet the owners had to increase the wages massively. The taxation here on hurts the entrepreneurs most, the ones who operate on a slim margin and are inovating. We had huge layoffs at some big companies here too. How do you explain the amazing economy numbers they are touting?

It was something like this. http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/southwestern-chicken-soup The soup was fine, but what we all brought was hilarious. It was a group of guys from work, 1 was the host, 1 is single, 1 recently divorced and 2 have wifes that are teachers with Parent Teacher conferences all week (so we were on our own). One guy brought tortillas, cheese and butter and made little half cheese quesadillas, one brought cheese bread ordered from Pizza Hut, I brought chips and dip, and one brought Keebler Fudge stripe cookies and some kind of mini cookies. It was hilariously sad.

I always eat bread with soup .... And things that go with it like nice cheese Someone else had already committed to the bread, which is why I couldn't.

Sides that I can make for a southwest chicken soup that hold overnight or can be pre-prepped and prepared in 30 minutes the next day in an unfamiliar kitchen. And it can't be bread...
