Looks to me like you are forgetting the veg. Make that a focus with your natural protein and the weight will fall off. More for optimization of my macros for either better fat loss and muscle retention or to make me more satiated, thus helping me keep with it. I'm working to put as much veggies in. The morning smoothie usually has 2 cups of Kale/Spinach. We have "converted" some meals to salads, spaghetti squash spaghetti, etc. If you have any non-salad recipes (Asian, Mediterranean, Indian is always good) that feature loads of veggies and meat I would be grateful.

Quick Questions Losing Weight (26lb to go) 1700 kcal (Striving for 50% max carb 25% min Protein, 25% Fat (making up the differences)) Whole foods mostly. Some potatoes, rice and noodles. 112 g Protein/ day. I've only hit 100g once in last 7 days. Should I supplement? Whole Food Supplements? Protein Powder Suggestions? (I have a forgiving palate) Is it okay if I"m not taking protein supplement post work out?

Milk Kefir was started just from a powder (was a free sample) After 14 hours it really just tasted like a better milk. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything like Kefir in the store as there was no tang. Probably would be more like it if I let it go to 24 hours, which is the max they say to do it. As for the Water Kefir. The plan was to pull it out tomorrow after church, cap it and let it sit another 24 hours to get some fizz going. However, the wife turned on the oven, where I was storing it so it got pretty warm and probably ruined the kefir grains...

What cleaner would you recommend? I'm going to get a plastic tub for hauling things now. I'm so embarrassed. It is kind of amusing as I'm driving my boss around today. It fades after 2 minutes of driving. Before we leave, I need to take the car for a quick spin!

Come do the big ugly!I'll assume it will take me the same time it took to do mine you have to pay me $10 an hour so it would cost you about $2000 plus travel and expenses. At least that's how long it felt like it took.

Not too bad for my first time with a random orbital IMO.

How do you plan on preparing it? Going to have a Ribeye roast tomorrow for Christmas dinner.

Interesting, though it will be a while before I have a place to hang one. I'm assuming RM sets in no matter what, even if I quarter it, so 24 hours is a must wait time. I also assume that oxygen has some effect on the aging process so being in a closed chest of ice won't help. I wonder what it all means if you are going to grind it up anyways. Aging increases flavor but it tenderness really affected?

Aren't deer up there born over 20lbs?
-
And I know the deer is too old for the best but that's what hunting at the in laws is for. All the deer are little bambi's.
-
first fail in that you shot too old of a deer. I've always had animals hung but have never shot one to eat that was over 20lbs. 20lbs is a rabbit.
-
Looking for some tips on processing deer. This will be used in the future but it got me thinking. We get the deer up and quartered quickly. We don't have a place to hang them overnight and probably wouldn't want to as it doesn't always get cold enough to do so. Most people swear by putting the meat directly on ice for a few days. I've always been against it for some reason. Just trying to make sure I'm doing my best to have some delicious meat.

I get 10 in town/highway in town, but on long journeys when you just go 80 I can get closer to 20. I still have a problem with the gas pedal being used on the highway though so it is normally closer to 15 there, but gas is not an expense I pay attention to.There no way you could get 20mpg if you got that thing on the highway and just set the cruise at 80 for most of a tank. I averaged 22 after the supercharger on a 50 mile ride. Tail wind and flat though. Closer to 70 Hand calculated or computer? At 65-70 I can believe 20-22, after that, that wind sail picks up a lot of resistance.
