The average BBQ joint I've gone to in Kansas sucks donkey balls compared to the worst BBQ places I've gone in Texas. The one you recommended was alright, Joe's in KC was good. The local place here is gross. I could create better BBQ with a pot on a stove. La Barbecue in Austin isn't even considered the top of the city and is amazing.

That is awesome! I weighed in under 205 for the first time since I don't know when. I did drink last night so its probably artificially low. I moved back to 5 reps in my lifts. Keep it up and keep us updated with the winning formula!

A lot of my "trumpness" probably stems from my strong disposition to pay off the national debt, which requires a lot of saying no to other things I'm not saying that is truly his position but it may lend my views to look like his.

I was talking to some guys at work about how a shadow governement that really controls America seems realistic right now. And they are sitting back laughing their asses off because they tried to get the most ridiculous group of people to lead the polls and it's working.

I really get frustrated these days when something that used to be so easy to get is deemed unhealthy and now the only way to find it is fancy version and pay gobs of money. Case in Point - Lard

*String of Cuss Words* on doing more than 2 negative reps. I did a pull up work out once and did a lot of negative reps. I was in SOOOOOOO much pain for days after.

So your saying more weight (Wm) less reps (Rl) > than less weight (Wl) more reps (Rm) even if Wm x Rl < Wl x Rm? (Where W x R is really just Force x Distance = Work) Right now all my lifts are compound movements Squat, Bench, Barbell Row, Overhead Press, Deadlift. For me, I thought the one extra rep would help with fat burning. Another issue is we work out at home and I don't have anything like safety bars for squats so my weights for it are really conservative. I am trying to always make sure we eat after we work out to maximize the benefits and calorie burn. Side bar: Part of my increased reps decreased rest has other reasons. My wife has started lifting and not hating it. It's been really hard for me to understand the effort she has to put into it. It either looks like it's effortless or she's failing the rep. Which, if your not used to it looks like she's quickly giving up, but it's not. After increasing by 1 rep she's barely doing less weight (actually already back to what she was doing before) but I can more easily see when reps start to get tough. Also, she hates the long breaks. I assume this is because her weight is sufficiently low enough that her recovery was very quick. Does that make sense? Like she physically can't lift enough to stay tired for over a minute. Another great thing about the short breaks is we don't switch in between. One person does their workout then the next does there because it's so quick. It really cuts down on the exhausting task of switching weights back and forth. As we progress, I'd like to get my wife in the gym and get myself back to the gym, but right now I really want to keep moving with what keeps her motivated.

So I decided I will continue on without any protein powder supplementation as long as I feel that less protein isn't affecting my weight loss goals. On the other hand, I will continue to try and find ways to supplement my protein intake with natural foods. I was weary at first about upping the meat in my dishes for fear that I would end up going over on calories, but based on my intake over the last few weeks, and my availability good lean ground deer/brisket I think I'll start upping it. I'll be adding 56-112 calories per serving and 11-22g of it is protein. I've also increased my 5x5 workouts to 5x6 workouts and cut my rest from 1:30 to 0:45. I've cut the weight back but it definitely has been a lot more work. Once I get to the goal weight I'll reconsider protein supplementation to increase muscle and reduce fat.

French door fridge 25.6 cu ft IIRC. We did spend just under $2K IIRC, but bought it local. Only issue I've had is the ice maker didn't want to stay connected so my ice for a bit was lopsided. I saw a smaller version of it for $1000-$1200 the other day.

Honestly, since buying my new TV I don't even use Roku anymore. Smart Hub does everything I need. My dad has a smart Blu-Ray and smart TV and those are the slowest damn UI's I've ever used. Obviously could be completely different for you. I just wish TV companies would make TVs and stop trying to make them smart. I wish amp people would just make gains, I wish wireless phone service companies would be dumb data pipes/

I can get anneheim, serano, jalapeños at the store. Staple veggies are garlic and all onions. We use fish sauce in meals that call for it. We only can get the Thai Kitchen Fish Sauce. It's not something we add extra of but its also not something we ever skip. Garlic/Onions aren't veggies, but seasoning No time to type anything up now so I am quoting for later. I also love eggplant. On olive oil. Is there an online source you trust? I ordered this from Amazon and it's okay. It seems a bit bitter. Otherwise I don't have many places to buy from and never really know what to trust. I also have never had the opportunity to taste side by side, which I'm sure would help a lot.
