I really don't think I'm going to my math class.... I guess I should do something productive if I don't though

anyone that actually thinks evolution isn't real is pretty much an ininformed tard. We can observe evolution again and again. What we can't do is prove that it's a form of creation. There are so many little details that points towards it it's scary, but there little details don't make up for the huge gaps. I myself do believe in god, though i believe in evolution as well. It's not nearly as difficult as most religious or scientific people make it sound. I don't believe in religion and i don't believe in the bible as other people do though. I believe the Bible is a great place to base your morals. i know there is a lot of ambiguity in the bible, but I also know that a King was the one that got it interpreted. So we read interpretations of an interpretation and we all know Kings weren't always so noble. I've also become a huge believer in Karma, but I do think that God is the one that inflicts this Karma. It's just amazing how apparent karma can seem when looking from an outsiders prospective. I don't see how it is far-fetched that something could be created with the ability to evolve. Just look at humans. We make cars then evolve them to be better suited for certain conditions (snow tires, improved suspension). If I had the power to create living creatures then I probably would have invented them for a way to evolve as well. One thing I've always wanted to explore was the fact that a lot of people have actually died and have had "light at the end of the tunnel dreams" before being brought back to life. I've always wanted to see this approached scientifically.

Was explaining my BIB's to a guy in class that knows a lil bit about audio. He seemed pretty skeptic of the whole idea, of course it was hard for me to explain questions very confidently because I don't know too too much about BIB's. Guess I'll just have to invite him over when they are complete. On another note, I was so bored today in my electrical class I wrote out exactly how I am going to cut each board for the project. I really hope I can find someone with a descent table saw to cut my stuff. My table saw is horrible and we are in desperate need of a new one.

I just opened some yogurt and when I did the entire bottom came off. Thank God I was holding it over a plate so 6 oz. of yogurt didn't spill everywhere

The weird thing about Experience is you tend to learn more if you fail the test, rather than if you pass it. go figure....

Experience is the worst teacher. It gives the test before presenting the lesson

I started the thread 2.1 Setup a while back but hit a brick wall beings I really had no clue what I wanted/needed. So I have scratched the idea completely and am starting again from the ground up. Here is a couple options I want to consider 1. A single Full range driver BIB setup like ANeonRider's. I figure my advantages are that things are much more cost effective, less channels of amplification, no crossovers. Its really all in the box and I can build a box. 2.Topgun mentioned a 10" with a horn setup. I really don't know all that involved with it wanted to explore that option more. (Maybe get use of a SD-1 as a midbass driver?) 3. Somewhere in between the two, or anything that acheives my goals (in other words I open to any suggestions) My main goal is to have something that can handle my music and the occasional movie. I also frequent the game DDR so hearing the music from the game would be fun as well. I'm not afraid of building a crossover but don't care to try design one. Worring about party-proof is not a priority, and I would like to keep this build more sq oriented (I won't be blasting away carelessly at any given time as I know whatever I build will be PLENTY capable of pissing off the neighbors) Budget is quite unknown. Obviously the first option would cost less than the first so it really depends on which way I decide to go. My max external dimensions for the box are 13.5" Wide 24" Deep 8' Tall (ideal is around 6' Tall as it matches well with the entertainment center.) The room is carpeted, 11' 6" Wide and 12" Deep. 99% listening will come from 8' from the speakers. Thats all I have to say, so have at it

Time for bed. Speakers for BIB won't be in until Monday, but I'll hopefully get most of the construction done this weekend

The oak will be very important for structure but I think it will make for a much better look in the end and 40 isn't too bad What do you mean by up and around? Up, would be going towards top/small end of the enclosure. Shellac of Deft available at Lowes/Home Depot?

In most cases I'd prefer being screwed by the girl, just not in this one. Kinda makes me think of Afro Man... "I took her to my house because she was fine but she whipped out a dick that was bigger than mine"
