Really? I use IE at work and Mozilla at home and don't notice a difference
-
Isn't that the exact reason they have this system?
-
well short of a playoff, how else would you decide?
-
But really, Texas got lucky to beat OU. There were some pretty messed up calls that fell Texas' way and 2 3 and outs turned into 2 touchdowns for Texas. I do believe that Tech isn't shit compared to Texas or OU. Even if BCS got it right, there should still be a playoff

Took me too long to figure out I could do that though

or they would tell me to run it w/o a fuse lol, but I'd rather not take any chances because then the only fuse would be 125A at the battery
-
sweet u found a fuse i guess? Switched the fuse that was on the sub to the front stage Just going subless until the fuses come in.... I'm sure most would be like ZOMG!!111! dood! run yo peakas on HU power and keep the sub bumpin on jeezy yo!

I am officially running my first active setup! Chunked the crossovers for the DLS' last night. Only thing I didn't really care for is that I really have no clue what the exact frequency I'm crossing over at is. But I hooked up one side and fiddled with it until I liked it, then faded it over to the non-amped, non active side so compare the blend between the tweet and mid. and mmmm mmm I love have me some midbass again

Forgot to mention that I want to use a water system to keep it simple. I had a buddy just call me and was talking about a solar powered sprinkler system, so I made up something based off that. It is a system that pumps water from an underground resovoir and then distributes it to 4 sprinkler heads spaced 10ft apart. I am trying to figure out if (for simplicity sake) I could substitute the sprinkler head for a valve that is a certain amount open. I would like to keep this as realistic as possible so it would be cool if I could calculate a sprinker that propell water 5 ft. on either side of it and setup my Flowrate and pump accordingly.

I have to design a "complicated" pipe system for my fluid dynamics class. I want to use something that I see in everyday life instead of making something up, but I feel friggen lost. Anyone got any ideas? It has to include pump, valves, reservoirs, pipes of different diameters (series or paralell) etc...

And hell, i don't even NEED a credit card, I just have one to help with my credit.

Fucking bank has been charging me for "ID Protection" They charged me one month then didn't for 2 months then they have for the last 3. Dumbass me for not noticing on my statement, but I'm fucking pissed because I never agreed for that shit. Really makes me want to close my account with them

http://bcae1.com/images/swfs/speakerwirese...orassistant.swf should answer most questions Remember that BCAE is conservative on their estimates to keep it safest

Bringing this back from the dead but that is what I like to do after I've had a lot of listening time. The MAW is great. I run it around 3/8 gains to keep the it blended with the BIB's (and the BIB's are not shabby at ALL on bass extension). You can pump up the gain to 3/4 (any more and the Dayton likes to clip) and play Stereo Gear Shift test tone and start shaking the light fixtures at certain tones. I think blending was the most important. Two little and the BIB's did all the work and too much and you can really localize it and it sticks out. I really need to get some good tracks and listen to it some more.

I bought a Sundown 100.4 refurb from DB-r a while back while it was on sale. When i got around to installing it, it was blowing fuses on the distro as soon as you hooked it up. So I sent it out to DB-r Tuesday before thanksgiving and I recieved the amp back TODAY (1 week and 1 day later). I am completely amazed with it being the week of Thanksgiving I received the amp back so quickly. That includes shipping time BOTH ways. The whole time it was out DB-r kept me updated with emails. I just wanted to give credit to DB-r for the excellent work they did. :bigclap:

Seriously if you are going to name a place Dixie I should not stand there for 2 hours and never hear a country song Though when I finally got a song i got to dance with my friend Megan. Damn she can't dance but she sure looks good doing it
-
does the 100.4 have a bandpass for the mid or just highpass or lowpass settings? if it only has high/low, you know you have to get another xover for the mid. But I say if you have some free time sometime, try it out. If you haven't ran the wiring for the speakers yet, may as well just run two runs to the crossover from the amp so that if you ever decide to try active you can without tearing your car apart again. Already made 2 runs because I will either upgrade to a better 2-way eventually or go straight to a rocking out 3 way (if Sundown ever produces the 250.2) Will also upgrade the processing to handle it
-
wtf son, why aint you at work?

I threw this question out earlier but wanted to throw it out again. The DLS's passive crossover at 4500hz with a 6db slope on LP and 12db slope on HP. Should I go ahead and set it up for active or just leave it passive? All of my active processing has to be done on the amp which is a lil PITA to get to the dials. The HU has a 3 band EQ and thats about it Oh yeah, I also believe the 100.4 is only capable of 12db slopes
-
For those that asked what was wrong with my amp.. About 10 ft over my head but I'm sure Adrian will find it interesting lol Super Props to DB-r for an amazingly fast turn around.
