Sooo Ryan2, I'm looking into building a desk for myself this Summer. Probably something with two regular drawers and a deep drawer for files on each side. Really dunno just throwing stuff out. Got any ideas? design, type of wood, how to build, etc...

Why are you quoting yourself with no extra text? In particular since your question was already answered. 1. Exahaust has nothing to do with the radio.. ever. Unless you grounded your radio to it. 2. Adding a Flowmaster that your have to reduce pipe size for is just adding sound and decreasing performance. How di you get it wrong the first time?

With a carpc the Behringer becomes interesting as you could then change your settings right on your TS. Cheap too. Noisy for home use, but don't think that is an issue in mobile applications. model, specs, etc.... By the way I have the H701 and C701 so I dunno if need much more for processing You could sell the H701, C701 It wouldn't give you more processing per se, but computer controlled DCX 2496 That would be awesome, but I think that is too much processing for my brain to handle. I would also have to have some kind on inverter because the computer runs off a DC-DC converter. Not to mention it may be nerve racking to do all the processing via computer because the screen will be 7-8", which is one of the reasons I picked the H701/C701. I could handle all my processing like it is a headunit and the computer is an input source only.

So doing a lot of research I think wih $850-950 I will have a 8" TS, a comp faster than anything I currently own, Navigation, HD Radio, 160gb of Space, Optical Output, WIFI, Ability to connect to the internet via phone. So add in anything that is available by the internet, OBDII scanning, Couple this with my H701 and I think my mobile audio setup will be "descent". I will also have the option to add HPTuners for tuning the trucks PCM.

I hate reading freakin online reviews on newegg. There are so many ups and downs and etc...

Any kind of metal bolt will be just fine. Only thing you need to do is make sure its not galvanized, and not coated with anything. It wouldn't hurt to scuff up the contact points before hand but that probably completely useless unless the bolt was coated to begin with.

I had a buddy whos parent/son relationship went completely 180 when he decided to pay for everything on his own. 180 in a good way. He used to hate coming home and now he enjoys it.

Ugh its even hard to find motherboard with optical out. Newegg doesn't sell any. What other places do you guys shop for computer stuff

I dunno. I had to buy a refurb one and I've had it for less than a year and its already starting to crap out yet the one I've had 4 1/2 years is still working perfrectly
