    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

When you are back up here Sean, you should check out Red Dot Coffee for your fix. They are a good shop.

A lot of local places are open again but you only have to go a few miles south to avoid the water issue all together. I will admit that people in the north generally take more pride in their food. I feel like every place I go to at least tries.

Need a rec! The sushi place is closed due to the water!

Hope to make it back there again. Not sure if it's closed because of the water situation. I mean, you boil water to make rice anyways right? Any other recommendations? I've all but given up on steak places for quality. I can pan sear, oven finish one on an electric stove better than most places. That being said, sometimes I want steak! I just don't expect to be wow'ed

First night in Novi. Found an out of the way Sushi/Udon place that was hopping. Met a guy from Japan who is an engineering manager for a large German company, so that was cool. He told me he came to the place last weekend and couldn't get a seat.

I was quoted $5800 to do 320 sqft of flag stone patio. I think I can get the materials and tools for < $2k. Anyone done similar work/ have any tips? I think I'm most worried about digging 7" of dirt x320+ sq ft.

Really wish I would have paid for the student priced Creative Suite when I was in college.

Curious what you like better. $10/mon - LR and 1TB $10/mon - LR, Photoshop and 20GB $20/mon - LR, Photoshop and 1 TB If you use Photoshop then I can see some value, not sure how much a standalone version is. For storage. Amazon offers unlimited photo storage (including RAW) with Prime for $99/year. The features between CC and standalone don't warrant a change at the moment.

Do tell. If I want to spend 2x as much for half the performance I'd prefer to buy Apple.

I think I'm also scared of building a computer and nickle and dime'ing myself.

Really want to buy a descent desktop PC for Lightroom. Any places to look. I wouldn't mind ordering all the parts myself and building, but don't want to spend a bunch of time piecing it together.

Cellphone, mirrorless or DSLR. Wished I had a mirrorless last night as I was at an event and don't really want to lug around a DSLR.

Butts are so forgiving. One of the first butts I cooked I let the egg lick flames out the top (over 500 on the dome),pretty much killed the fire overnight and finished at 275ish. It was still so good.

The only way that's worth it is if you get paid so much more you can afford to move of you are okay with having a place near there to stay during the week.

Having worked one tradeshow I understand. We will have a handful of people so you get plenty of breaks. You would get a chance to meet the best research engineer at SwRI.
