As I was about to type how smooth the Win7 is going I think the computer froze trying to install Zone Alarm Firewall.......

Although, it is ridiculous how many retarded email folders and crap that he keeps.
-
My Dad better be appreciative. His lack of having an email that floats in the cloud is making it a lot tougher for me to make the switch over to the new comp. Though I am very pleased how smooth it has gone considering I'm going from Outlook Express on XP to Windows Live Mail on Win7.

Soooo the craziest thing just happened. This weekend I met Travis' Girl friends new roomate. Today her ex-roomate from the college she transfered from friend request me and I'm just thinking "really?" you're wierd. She sends me a message with it and come to find out I used to talk to her on AIM back in middle school and I met her through a friend of hers that my friend I went to middle school with! To make it less confusing Ashley (the girl that friend requested me) old friends with Marrisa who is a friend of Jose Who went to middle school with Me who is friends with Travis who is dating Ashley 2 who just became roomates with Lindsay (after some freak situation where one of Ashley 2's other roommates cancelled and they randomly stuck her in the empty spot) who is former roomates of Ashley (the girl that friend requested me) Definitely mind bottling...

You need to drop 500-1000 calories a day to lose 1-2lbs a week. 3500 calories is about 1 pound. The concept is right though, and its easy. Get your body to consume more than your mouth is consuming. Getting your metabolism to respond can be a bit tricky depending on the person.

I know its been a few months but keep it up for the summer bud. Throw in some running and cross fit exercises. Your young (I'm only 21 but still ) so make sure you keep your joints happy. I know some guys who lifted big in HS but got burnt out / injured. So keep your body moving and it will thank you, (and the ladies will too)

I think people underestimate the power of walking. My friend lost 70lbs over the summer by eating right and walking about 5 miles a day.

Well the rain may have ruined my chance to ride today, but it didn't stop the fed ex guy from delivering my Dad's new computer!

dem beats, I'm in the middle of trying to lose weight this summer. I'm looking at losing 25-30 lbs total (I've lost about 7 so far). For me it's all in the stomach. Truly, I have a little in my thighs but my arms and calves have hardly any fat at all. I'm hoping to get into the 185- 190 range then I'd really like to just add muscle and loose a proportional amount of fat to maintain my weight. I actually just made the jump to try out some supplements for weight loss other than vitamins, protein and the occasional creatine. I have added some fish oil pills in the morning (not really fat loss promoting but definitely health promoting. My general theory is if my body is given fat in the morning and digest it, it will more easily digest body fat during the day.) Most of what I am adding is naturally occuring product, but I also did order a diet pill for the first time. This, like your low carb diet is just a short term thing for me. It's definitely not something I plan to be on for a long time and plan on a month and a half tops. By the way, I am going to personally try to refrain from posting chit chat, etc... in your thread so that we can focus solely on your needs and your results.

Good luck man. I know you have a lot of nutritional information, much that I've used for a positive influence on myself (sipping on some Nectar right now). I wasn't a big fan of your low carb plan, but I like that you are only using it for a preliminary jump. I know that introducing good carbs into my diet has boosted my energy and increased my weight loss. Remember its a long term journey. Keep it up and keep your body nourished. Lots of water, good vitamins, etc. will keep your joints and body happy.

Alright I'm starting a topic here because there is a lot of discussion in the H0P and I wanted to keep it all straight My Dad wants a new desktop. Our current one has a Pentium 4 1.5Ghz, 512mb of RAM, 127gb HD (replaced after it crashed), DVD-RW (recently purchased) and a CD-RW all housed in a Dell Inspiron 4300 case. We have a mouse, keyboard, new flatscreen monitor and speakers that can all be carried over to the new comp. The reason he wants a new computer is because this one is getting ridiculously slow. I honestly don't understand considering we do the same thing on it for years (and recently had it reformatted when the HD crashed), but I guess parts just get old? My options are... 1. Buy a new tower from Dell (Easy, Plug and Play, Dad approved) 2. Built a new computer in a new tower (supposedly cheaper, Dad could be talked into it) 3. Replace guts of old computer with new internals (Basically the same as #2 but cheaper) I'm a fan of 3, but is there anyway to be sure what I'm buying is going to fit into the housing? I'm also looking for an Intel i(3,5,7) processor. Feel free to discuss Edit: Budget is around $500-600 including the OS (And I'm not going to steal an operating system from the net)

No, I'm pretty sure I got confused and crossed the amp at 35hz while the processor crosses it at 63. It definitely made a big difference in output. It was fun actually being able to crank something to make it just plain loud Go Icon!
-
So you want to hear my noob mistake??? I've had the H701 for a while now. Just went and checked my amp and realized that I never switched the crossover frequency from the amp. So the signal was being cut at the amp after being cut by the processor.
-
Yep, pretty much.

It was $650 then my Dad added another year of service, Office 2010 (which I may could have got cheaper) and then there was sales tax
