Actually, the only thing that makes Android my "best bet" right now is that I can get the Navigation program on the Android tablet and have a 10" Nav Screen for free. I haven't used an Android tablet but the Ipad I used tonight was just plain fast. The only thing that slowed it down was out apt's chitty internet. Otherwise I was pretty impressed. Also, iOS 5 is comming out later this year and really makes up for a lot of the shortfalls that apple has right now

love how the ipad f'ed it up a little bit. It could post on the desktop site because of the lack of flash I suppose. The ipad did convince me that I definitely want a tablet though.

Aaron. I'm sorry so many people waste your bandwidth. I really hope you sell the shit out of some woofers because some of the stuff I read on the forums is hopeless.

    square sub vs roudn sub?

Ok captain douche bag, like you can't comprehend what he's trying to say?Not that its well put or anything. wow PHI didnt know you were a captain! and you are now officially a female cleaning product! CAPTAIN FEMALE CLEANING PRODUCT = PHI I'm actualy tired of reading the "this sub ~vs~ that sub" threads that are posted on this site. People listen and listen good, it depends a lot on the installation!!!!!!!! Stick any sub in a cardboard box and it'll sound like shit. Put any sub with an inferior power application, it'll sound like shit....... For the love of God! Do some research or testing before you post up a question or opinion! A little work goes a long way when making a statement regarding any equipment. Such things need to be included such as, what type of ride, what type of enclosure, power supply, ect....... Square ~vs~ round......? Here's a good question, which would fly farther if thrown with two hands? (I don't care if this cost me a few rep points, just had to get this out there!!! sorry) I can understand your frustration as I feel the same way sometimes about certain things that get said. On the other side of the fence though isn't that what these forums are for? To ask questions and get opinions / feedback? The dedicated audio guys have seen the threads, done the research and spent countless hours learning and trying new things but not everyone has. We were all new to this at one point and had to ask the same type of questions. I'm not trying to bash you or start an argument here I just don't think it's right to cut the throat of someone who is seeking an edjucated opinion. Just my 2 cents Yes the forums are to ask questions, but the forums have a search button. You search and search and search and then you can formulate a real question. I know plenty of times I've looked for information but didn't quite understand. THEN I posted a thread talking about that specific question I had. People are always looking for a damn quick fix these days and want to just know something without trying to learn.

Just throwing that out there Good luck. Interested in seeing the home-bus The City buses are where it's at if your traveling long distance. Mom's has a Detroit 4-71 engine and an Allison transmission. My military bus was nice bc it had a tall ceiling. 6' 6" in the center iirc. The old 392ci was a screamer, plus a 5 speed with a two speed rear axle. I would do 80 mph in that beast. How many DeeBeez do you think I would get if I walled it off?

Nothing to do with what you posted but 1. I knew a chick from Kazakhstan 2. Why the hell don't we do date by year/month/day? To me doing month/day/year is like saying I have $606 dollars added on to $20110000. And when you file something by the date on a computer things get all fuxored if you leave the date at the end and you ended up filing for multiple years

Anyone know any good cheap mattress toppers? I'm at my new apartment that has a full size bed, but I will only be here for two months and don't want to waste money on a mattress topper unless I can get a decent return on it at the end of the summer

Some guy (in a friendly tone) told me that you never throw away furniture (in this case a matress) in College Station because someone will pick it up to find a use out of it.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Tell me what you guys think of this idea. In my new bedroom I have my TV elevated and off the wall. Instead of mounting the speakers on the wall I was thinking about building a bracket that connects to the wall mount studs on the TV. It would be a metal arm that sticks out to the sides so I could attach some speakers...

Must be a righthanded "thing"? +1 for lefties! I tied it my normal way and it was fine. I did it the other way and it was wrong.

Please help me figure this out...

Not sure what kind of vehicle this is but actually grounding your head unit to something metal in the dash has helped me before. When I have problems I always start disconnecting things to isolate the problem. Start with grabbing an MP3 player and a 3.5mm to RCA cord and plugging the RCA's directly into the 1&2 on your amp and disconnect the others. If it plays good then it should be something in your HU. Also, possibly check the connections for your remote wire everywhere. I have had little stray pieces of the pos and neg wire touch the remote wire and freak things out.

    stock amp replacement

A few questions... Are you doing an aftermarket amp and leaving the HU stock? Are you amping the stock speakers or aftermarket? This should work as long as the power wire running to the original amp is large enough to power the new one. You could use this system design assistant to make sure. The original amp may have used hi level inputs (basically using the speaker wire as inputs) in which case you would need a line out converter to change it to RCA inputs.
