    Welcome to the IHoP

So a few days ago I got a rash on my lips and face that looks like poison ivy and I'm wondering how in the world I got it on my face. Fast forward to today and I'm chowing down on my last mango in the house and a light bulb goes off. Went and hit up wiki.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mango

I understand that exactly. And I will be looking for a car that is hell of a lot of fun to drive, but is also capable of being comfortable for long trips. If the best for my money ends up being a Honda Accord then that's what I would want to get. Honda Accords are NOT fun to drive, lol. Well considering I drive a 1995 Saturn. When my friend and I traded cars for a weekend (2005 Accord V6) I was quite happy

and obviously budget, but I think that goes without mentioning. Add (descent) reliability in there too.

Its all bull shit anyways. My brother is into body building and lifts a shit ton of weight, but has no real strength. His punches are weak, he can't loosen a stubborn bolt, and when we wrestle, I simply whip his ass. He's got 40lbs on me and it's all muscle and still doesn't have the strength I have. That's why some people don't just shove weights around, but actually build muscle from doing shit. Perfect example would be using rings (like gymnast), or exercise routines that are coined "primal fitness", all usable strength that transfers over into real life. One area I would love to gain more strength in is body weight exercises. I guess its really just part of my genetics to not be able to do a lot off pullups, push ups, dips, etc...

I am, which explains why I didn't sound deaden the shit out of the HT room. Going to finish a few projects and make it $$. I'll have less than $1.5k into the HT room and it adds 400sq ft to the house. It'll put us up near 5000 and have a dedicated room for pretty much everyone. 5 bedrooms, workout room, billiards room, home theater/kids play room, storage room, two living rooms, sun room, dining room, big eat in kitchen. Stereo and automated lights run to it all. Partly going to suck to leave, but if it allows me to buy lake front I'm happy. Little investment for a larger return! Great idea! Doing the kitchen floor, some landscaping, replacing all the light switches, painting a bunch and so on. ALL SHIT I should have done right away. Figures. Don't make that mistake on your next place

Haha, well my job and school = sitting at a computer all day. "going out in the field" for my research means driving a total of 4.5 hours to stop at 3 places and spend 20min per place warming up an engine and taking an oil sample. So I have to do something or I would go friggen nuts

A true body builder really does work out just to gain the muscle and there are plenty of ways to gain it without gaining actual strength

Would you care to explain your process? I feel like I've been trying everything and nothing is working. I've been working out with a good friend almost everyday.. I can now almost bench my body weight 3 reps can run 4 miles and bike 40 miles but I can't seem to drop any weight. Also, I according to my roommate's scale I also haven't lost a single bit of body fat

Can you cut the PVC to pretty tight tolerances? What I was thinking is you make the box with the front baffles that will support the 8's and horn. Cut grooves in the box as guides for the 8 " PVC and the 10". Guide the 8" on from the back to the front and secure. Apply the back baffle and with the other set of grooves on the top and bottom of the box, guide the 10" PVC in from the front and secure it to the grooves and the back baffle. You 8" will be shorter to allow air to go around to the 10" and out the front port. I think may not have understood you problem completely.

I've been learning a heck of a lot about routers the past couple days. Not being able to leave well enough alone I just changed my router to a custom firmware. Not sure what changed exactly but I'm getting more than double the speeds in some locations. Also about to set up a second router in the living room on the same network so I will have great signal everywhere in the house! Whoop!

Just had an odd combination of food. Boudin and a Korean ramen with an added egg, garlic and my Korean roomate's own Kimchi. I thought I was hungry but I only made it through half the ramen and now im stuffed. It sucks because it damn good.

Just kill the heat after you flip. The pan should retain enough to carmelize the other side and then slow and cool for the rest. This is what I ended up doing. Steak came out of the fridge 1.5 hours before and was laid on a cooling rack. About 45 min before I put paper towels around them. Came back in a few and pulled them off and got as much liquid I could pat off. Added salt and pepper about 30 min before. Pre-heat Cast in oven at 450* (used that temp because my gf was about to cook something in there at that temp) move to propane burner and fire it up and get super hot I ended up doing 1.5 min on one side, then a min on the other with heat, cut it off throw on a little bit of butter on it and let it sit for another 3.5 minutes. (I let my gf's sit for 4.5 min) Mine came out with a nice crust and just a tad rare right at the center (I would call it medium rare). Her's was nice and pink all the way through. (a good medium, not restaurant medium). They were the best steaks I ever had. I was able to get some natural ribeyes from HEB with a lot of good marbling. Even the fat was delicious to eat and the crust was simply delicious. I'll definitely be using this recipe again. For the woman she isn't as much into the pure meat taste. Next time on hers I think I'm going to try a little rub with some red pepper and garlic powder to give it a kick.

Making some steaks tonight. I plan on using my Cast Iron on my new propane to get things really hot. Trying to decide if I should finish in the oven on a new pan, finish in the oven on the skillet, or finish them on the burner with reduced heat and a lid (or maybe not a lid) Suggestions?

Where does it hurt? Rather than describing I feel this is a better way to convey the message Basically right where the tip of the arrow is on either side.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Busted out 30 miles on the bike this morning. I finally topped 1000 miles on my bike. Can't remember if I'm about to finish my 2nd or 3rd year of ownership... either way, I should have hit it much sooner. And this may seem like a weird time, but I REALLY need to get a new seat and get fitted. I've been playing around with all kinds of positions and it's not getting better. The 30 miles today wouldn't have been a problem if the seat didn't hurt so bad. Also, it hurting a little bit to pee afterward didn't seem like a good sign.
