Hey Sandt (or anyone else), My truck has been showing the ABS light and Brake light for quite a while. Every now and then it's only the ABS light. A long time ago my ABS light came on, and I had a bearing issue. It was over heating the system at that rotor. At that point I changed the bearing and the brake fluid. A while ago I put all new rotors and pads. I still have the lights and my brakes always seem spongy. Is there any way for me to figure out why the lights are coming on?

I'm eying up the Nexus One, probably going to be my first venture into smartphones. Any reason you are favoring the Nexus One? Could you do the Droid Milestone or Nexus S?
-
Also, Swappa seems to be a good place to buy used phones.

Well, if you can snag a new/used Galaxy Nexus it is a great phone that will be able to last far longer than any other phones released in it's era. I will say that my battery life is "okay". I could get a full 24 hours out of it when I initially got it. Also, the glass on the screen is more prone to scratches then some others. I would stay away from a lot of other phones for the simple fact that an unlocked phone will be supported by developers for a long time.

I think Sean is looking to buy outright.

Too bad we have to pay people to take decent shots of us!

That's a bad ass idea by the way.

S3, or Razr M depending on her wants/needs. Could even buy a 3g iPhone 4.

I'll take that back slightly. It is nice to have the ability to kill apps if they go rogue on you and mess up. Happens every now and then.

My current phone, with supposedly a decent processor, cannot keep up with what I need. Bogs down, locks up, and gets very slow even during texting at the gym while listening to music. Weird. You must have a bunch of stuff open at once. My basic RAZR m works fine with 6 chrome tabs open, pdf viewer, texting, and Pandora all at once. I've gone through a handful of different series of thought, some Android geeks say to kill apps often, others say it is best to leave them alone. Restart daily, which is a very long process. Best to leave it alone now. All killing apps does is waste a bit of battery.

You must have a bunch of stuff open at once. My basic RAZR m works fine with 6 chrome tabs open, pdf viewer, texting, and Pandora all at once. It should be noted that the RAM management of Android is vastly different than your typical computer. Having 6 tabs "open" really isn't so. Android actively monitors RAM and shuts things down (or removes the ability to quickly recall something you haven't used in a while) as needed. For instance. If you have 6 chrome tabs open it may save the pages into RAM for fast flipping between them. However, as you begin to use other programs Android will likely save some sort of "screenshot" but dump the what is needed to interact with it to free up RAM. The freed RAM will then be used to remember what page you left the new programs on or something else useful. Therefore, when you come back to Chrome it will show that "screenshot" quickly before re-loading the page entirely. It's really a genius system, but took a while to perfect. Apple, on the other hand would just pause a program when you navigate away form it. Android allocates ~10% of resources to continue to process "background apps" and gives priority to most recently used programs. On your computer it process each screen as if it is the foreground program being used, Android does not. All that to say, that your Razr M does handle all of that, with ease, but its not as revealing to the performance of your device like it would be on a PC. Android has made massive improvements to RAM management and performance increase has also come from sheer increases in phone "horsepower". Theoretically, it should matter how much you have running, as Android should be able to strip away the lower priority to keep your experience smooth. The older phones did a terrible job of that. Since then they have made improvements to the system to do a better job of this while maintaining multitasking.

To be honest, there was a time period when android was just pushing things out just because. The Thunderbolt IMO is one of the terrible abominations they released during that era. HTC rushed it out to be the first with LTE. Anything newer will be so much better. Some phones have the same specs but they really did work with smoothing things out. The Galaxy nexus is a great device at 1.2 GHz Dual core even though it is getting "older". They also are upgrading from A8 to A15 chipsets that are faster and more efficient. Also, Exynos has a dual core that is faster than the Tegra 3 quadcore Are you on Verizon? If so the DNA, and Note 2 are great if you want something big. I think that the Razr HD line is pretty good as well as the M if you want something smaller. The S4 is "around the corner" but it won't be announced until after CES so probably late Jan, early Feb and it won't be released until May or June of next year. Outside of Verizon the Note 2 is still great, as well as the SIII and the Nexus 4.

I heard, "That Cummins will shit on that chevy."
-
I just realized that really was in a Walmart parking lot LMAO!
-
Knowing it was ebaums world I thought someones shit was going to get messed up bad.
-
But then again, either of them "competing" in a pull-off is stupid enough as it doesn't prove shit. Hell, it may actually mean that the Cummins is heavier and has street tires. I also like how the girl is screaming at him the entire time as if he can hear.
-
I would be pissed if I was the other guy.
-
He really took, "I could pull your POS Chevy allover this Walmart parking lot!" to the fullest.

When you figure out how to turn them on tell me...
