going to try to keep the stock look? -
you would if you got the trunk sealed off from the cabin. so you dont have to pressurize more air space.

two different subwoofer wave cancellation true??
platnum accord replied to caddyon20s's topic in General Fi
it does work actually... but not in the same box and not off the same amp. if you have a different amp fpr each sub/set and a differing cross over point, it may work. it made my friends truck louder but i wouldnt reccomend it... i mean come on, rep one company!!! -
i like the 10 because i just made a box about 1.3 cuf tuned to 42 hz... wonder if one would make my accord any louder...

i was like dam those 4 small runs of wire near the rear look out of place. made me laugh when i noticed they were cut offs. hahaha! -
that clanking noise adds to the db's.
-
im diggin them. 15"... yesss!!!
-
a bad ground or a loose connection could cause this. my amp turns off when i turn it up too loud because its drawing so much freaking power it turns off my deck. and voltage dips way way way down.

What audio transactions do you regret?
platnum accord replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in General Audio
i regret selling my clif designs cd10aw's, for 181.80 for both 10's i doubt that price is easily beat, man did those subs ever wang. Buying a kenwood amp. Buying an 8 guage wiring kit. Buying a 4 guage wiring kit. I dont regret buying my UL400x as its about 6 years old and is still owning, but i regret giving it to my sister, bad decision. Buying pg QX165 components, the tweets own but the mids are pieces of chit. Buying 2 ultimate t21400 amps which blew up in a week, well 1 blew and 1 went on strong, dont know why though. Buying the SAZ1500d was my best audio decision sofar and i dont think i will ever sell it. I dont regret buying 2 cd8w's but i do regret giving them to brad right about now, they might have made some awsome rear speakers. I dont regret putting 36v's of dc power through my stock speakers to start a fire that was fun. -

pucking excellent -
point well taken but im sure thats about the biggest box i have ever seen or herd in the trunk of an accord so jk but no power determind yet as my budget could very well change.
-
which fi sub would sound the best in my ~7 cube box. its about 3.5 cubes before port so about 3 cubes per sub. the box is tuned to 29hz and since its the biggest possible box i was able to make that fits in and out of my trunk with ease thats all i really wanted. so i want to keep the box but by the specs of the sub which would get loudest in this prefab box.
-
well i mean i got about half of what a btl is, and i mean i paid about half so it works out lol. i want a btl or 2 but just cant fit it into the budget right now.
-
haha OWNED. whats the aprox weight of each sub? includint the 6.5 midbass.

how long did it take you to get the rears apart. on my friends 98 it took me alone about 50 mins to take it apart and put it back togeather. it was fun

Greatest Passenger Car Engine of last 25 Years
platnum accord replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in Automotive and Performance
4 cyl = 3sgte 6 cyl = 2jz gte(strong bottom end) or 1jz gte(better flowing heads) and the best of both wolds the 1.5jz gte (2jz bottom end with the 1jz heads bolted on) the 2jz and the 1jz were the most overbuilt engines of their time. kids are getting 600-700hp on all stock internals with a few mods such as boost and fuel. these engines are back from the early 90's. if thats not the greatest engine ever i have to say what is? (and i am speaking from a strictly tuner perspective)
