hmmm ... Will .... nope, don't think I know you. didn't you star in Full House? -
We love you too Nick. Next sub I purchase will be from you ... may not be for a little while .. but when the time comes, you'll be getting my business. And I'll make sure to write you back with my comments and praises. And don't forget, that people who love what they do for a living, don't work a single day in their life

sounds awesome man .. thx for the quick reply those xover boxes you're talkin about, is that saying the $250 is for the 7" driver and the tweet .. and xover sold separetely? or is this something different altogether..or am i being retarded ... :thud:
-
I can vouch on the fact that the XR tweeter is a bit harsh on the ears ... definitely some fatigue goin on there. and i have them set at -1.5db on the xover too... these new 302's sound very enticing ... for $250 no less ... made exclusively for IB in door installs, design for offaxis ... stronger midbass than the XR's ... much more withstanding midrange .. sounds too good to be true! here are some Q's: 1) .. what separates these entry levels from the 307 and 327? is it merely powerhandling? i mean, if these 302's are putting out impressive midbass, would we be able to audibly hear a difference in lowend performance in comparison to the other two? 2) .. maybe this was answered earlier and i missed it .. but you mentioned the XR mids are crossed around 5k and they've rolled off by then in doors ... what are these guys crossed at in the upper range? wow.. getting excited .. maybe this summer will be a significant change in sound in my ol civic afterall :boink:

Love the planet audio amps. thats all i run in my car. For the price they cannot be beat. As for the Ample subs eh well they good but not 600 dollars good. I would compare them to a ed A series in actual sound and output. Dont get me wrong they loud and they sound pretty decent just not for 600 dollars your dollar is better spend in a brahma or a SE or a XXX how much do those PA amps run for typically?
-
positron? hmm ... never heard of you. wel-come-on-in check out the cool smileys! :boxin:

sweet serenade, that thing looks beautiful! I will definitely be an owner of one of those one day B)

man .. this guy follows me everywhere! be wary of this man. he drives a miata .. and you know what they say about men in miatas ... ... ... ... there goes that guy in the miata. i guess... depends on the color i suppose and here's one for my greery :boink:

hey... just thought i'd say a few words ... your initial post of the 15A seems a bit ... harsh? And I'm going to try not to be bias here, but if I would have read that post while in the sub market, i may not have purchased eD's product .. which has done nothing but amaze me thus far. I was a "lucky" one that received a functional 15A .. without the aluminum backing .. and it's just been nothing short of incredible .. and now with eD planning to launch a few new sub designs, i'd be hesitant to write them off as 'nothing exciting .. just a good all around driver ' ... can't wait til i have a jobby job tho... planning on giving the new D2's a whack ... i'd like to get one of each uber sub and throw out a little review .. in time perhaps.. anyways .. i don't have pennies, but those are my 2 nickels
-
thx guys ... 15A is still bumpin strong as ever :boxin: ... very warm welcomes here .. awesome
-
Hey there Nick is that 15 made to love big boxes like that? or would it perform well in a smaller box as well? say 2cft? or even 1.5cft?
-
yeah .. not many members here either ... kinda like this place is just a baby. starting to grow in some teef but most of the people are very familiar indeed .. and look at all the cool smileys! hah thx for the welcome tire!
