Any input on this? Any bench numberson the md3? I can get the MD3 bout $150 cheaper than the Kicker and it would be from an Authorized dealer while the kicker wouldnt be. I plan on running four of either amp each to a 15" hdc3

I am looking for an amp that is 80-90watts at 8 ohms. Will any of the new amps coming out be able to put this out or am I basically stuck with a 100.4 bridged with gains down?

We've talked several times, perhaps you'd recognize my e-mail, [email protected] Got it. Not having real names on the forums gets me. Did you set the gains like our last e-mail? Based on this latest bit of information I would try a different RCA cable too if I were you if you are still having an issue. I turned the gains down like you said, down to 36 I think and was very dissapointed with the output, I didn't get a chance to see if they kept going in protect though. I took the amps out soon after. I am building a new box and paneling it all off right now though so they aren't in. I ordered some KnuKnoceptz RCAs to see if it will help, also bought a few fans to cool them down.

Which is louder for a single fq?? How is an 8th order like? I know 6th is ported in ported. I am trying tomake a box to peak extremely high at one note.

What it says, I've heard the FS drops fro 37hz. I need to know what the new parameters become. i have 2 fullyloaded BLs, 12" Need to know by tommorow please.

Well it is quite a broad range you reccomend. We are not using any programs like WiniSD. Like I said the enclosure will be built for the sub/car for the best "real world response".

Actually I am currently in school @ Installer Institute and we are building boxes built for the car/sub....anyways should I just use the the listed specs then?

Now would a 200 amp with a higher idle amperage be better than a 300 amp with lower idle amperage? I barley drive my car and when I do I rarley have the RPMs over 2k.

Any one know what the 1500s strapped will put out at 2.8 ohms strapped? I think I'm better off at 2.8 strapped than .7 with a lowered gain.

It is a great amp, I love mine . I just which the xover settings were made a little easier. It's not too easy to guess where it should be. Like on my old JL amps each setting would have a small click and you could easily tell where the xovers were set.

Alright first off, thanks Scott for the help. But I am a newb when it comes to working on the actual subs. How exactly do I chance these leads? PS: These extreme leads are pretty thick compared to the regular ones lol

They get pretty loud, I know I am losing a lot of sound int he trunk though. SQ is good too.

Alright plan on re-building the box and I may try this. Remember my trunk is extremely sealed off, I have computers and what not all on behind the rear seat and with the panel off it doesn't let much air intot he car. Anyways, I want to face the subs the same way, towards the back and have the port facing up and into the car. It would be built so the port goes directly into the rear deck. How you guys think that will work?
