i had 1 of my Q 18s in sealed once. but in 5.75 net, not near as small as you want, but it did do very well. id love to experience a hand full of em sealed sometime. i can only imagine how sweet it would be

in my experience, it seems higher voltage less current circuits are less strain on the load vs high current low voltage in general. which would also explain amplifier death if looking at the input DC side where low voltage and high current senario creates magic smoke that jbl crown is a perfect example as you wont find many high power high voltage amplifiers like those current kills

Minus Earthman's mis information about the black spacers...all of the 12's have 1 layer, all of the 15's have 2 layers and the 18's have no spacers. not to say 1 15'' cant be louder then 2 12s cuz its possible depending on arrangement. but 2 12s have 2x the coil and 2x the motor. just something to think about
