Just for reference guys, that RF T5002 amp confuses alot of people. I know cuz I have one. My T5002 Birthsheet reads: 234 rms x2 @ 4ohm 343 rms x2 @ 2ohm 520 rms x2 @ 1ohm 1040 rms bridged @ 2ohm As you can see this is a very strong amp capable matching well with any one SSD or Q.Two woofers might be underpowered but will still pound.Remember this is how we did it back in the day.As far as bl's go,I would go with a different amp due to the suspension and power capability of this sub.

Im ordering 2 Fi 12s soon have some questions

Why a 2 channel vs mono? -
I noticed on some of the pics, the 18'' basket has small square windows at the bottom and the smaller subs have bigger arched windows. Are these generation differences like early or late model baskets? Are they related to the cooling options or BP Power? Do the recent 18s have the bigger arched windows cuz that's what sets the 12 spoke off for me?

I prefer my system to drop low - play as flat as possible & be very loud with it. I`m aiming for 150dB+ @ 20Hz I got very close with my last system 148.2dB@ 20Hz in the dB drag Position - which wasn`t a wall. This is the direction SPL should of headed towards in the begining.Low frequency pressure is way more impressive.

I wish I could get a demo.I would buy Steve lunch or dinner for it ( and I'm not talking fast food. )

Is it possible to have some pics of the compression plug & axial cooling channels?

Wanting to know if the enclosure volume requirements have been determined yet?

Ha ha you had me for a minute though

Active bass processors go inline before the amps. There is no need for more than one unit if you have daisy chaining ability. Also the fewer the electronic devices you have the less chance you'll have induced noise to the system

Out of all the times you asked similar questions,I thought you would have it figured out by now. My opinion is go with the most cone area

That mtx te4001d is a monster. I'd compare it to a rf T3k. If you're going to trade up for the hifonics lmk I'd love to have it!

American Bass VFL 150.1 GOLD CHASIS Opinions?

Great amp, where did you get it? -
I come up with 9.45 cubic feet net w/sub displacement taking into account. This is assuming you're using .75'' mdf w/double baffle. This figure still needs port & bracing worked in as needed
-
Is sealed possible? Are dual 1 coils possible?Just curious thanks

I've been seeing alot of this as of late.I think people are just jumping on a sub or subs that appeals to them but fail to do pre planned measurements or take into account how much space it takes to know if the end result will work or fit in this case

What flavor of 15s do you have,if you don't mind me asking?
-
Can't wait for some in depth reviews
