Hmmmm, we dont have those cars here so im not shure on the boot, but as for the hifonics, I have a couple friends with em and they're not very reliable, nor do they output the power listed for them. i dont think you want any less than 2000rms going to a btl though

You could trim some of the really fatty sections though, just leave most of it. Gives more flavor and helps keep if from getting too dry. Oh, and cook on a LOW setting for longer time
