Dual 1 subs can be wired in series for a 2ohm nominal load each, or in parallel for a .5 ohm nominal load each. Dual 2 subs can be wired in series for a 4ohm nominal load each, or in parallel for a 1 ohm nominal load each. You would present your 3000d with a 1/2 ( .5 ) ohm nominal load if you used a D1 sub in parallel ( at least 3000wrms but I don't recommend ). A D1 in series would present a 2ohm nominal load at the 3000d for 1600wrms rated power. This is for one dvc sub only. Adding more subs together will be a whole nother set of numbers. Make shure you do your homework before spending money on the wrong one. Bottom line is, if you want to run one sub, at 1ohm, get the D2 and wire the coils in parallel + to + and - to -. If you want to run one sub at .5 ohm, get the D1 and wire it in parallel aswell. If you want to run one sub at 2ohm, get the D1 and wire it in series. Like I said above, a saz-3000d at 2ohm= 1600wrms rated. Same amp at 1ohm= 3000wrms rated. You decide

If they really want to boost our economy, they should give us a certain amount of free gas credit for a few months Horrendous idea. You don't like my idea ? It would help me out more than anything else would. That's why it's just a dream
-
Yeah, I wouldn't have any complaints at that price aswell

I am a firm believer that if you're not going to give the BTL up to atleast close the rated power, you are wasting your efforts. The suspension is so stiff on it that anything under 1500wrms wont do it any justice. However the kicker 2500 would be good for a 15''btl imo. What is your description of SQ? Just curious. I have a feeling most people don't really understand what SQ is, in terms of a vehicles environment.

I don't aaron, I would do SSA if I need em, but I was refering to IAs comment, because I thought 15'' was the biggest FL sub. I wasn't asking if I could get an 18'' FL to clarify.

the gas shortage was a lie. Only a couple of the 170 or so refineries in this country shut down for a day or two. If that little hiccup affects the whole country that much, we seriously need to work on things. But it doesn't as much as the media portrays. North Carolina/south carolina/other states in that area charge more state taxes on gas than other states. That's why prices are higher over there. I was under the impression that California takes in the most taxes for gasoline? Its still above $3.00 a gallon here. They oxygenate the fuel during the summer months, and other additives throughout the year. Damn extreme emissions regulations. At least on the east coast, they still have 93 octane at the pump. We only have 91 for super.
