A full cooling plug/solid pole, with an "axial" style cooling. As I said in the past, the Zcon is the counter part to the Xcon, and answer to some of the needs people wanted but the Xcon was not meant to be. The Zcon is a higher power handling, higher capable output driver then the Xcon, but I hope people understand our model lines are not a direct line from one to the next. Reason I say this is that I notice some posts with the tone of the Zcon being a direct step up from the Xcon, which it is not as they are some what different. As in the Icon to the Xcon, there is some big differences in design and intent. The Dcon is somewhat like a mini-gen1 Icon. We don't plan to make the same driver at different power handling levels. Yes, they will all share a similar philosophy and very high standards for their respective design and purpose, but they are all different in their own right. So the whole pole is plugged to make it solid? It is a massive solid pole on the Zcon. That motor design uses a very large amount of steel. thats for sure, pushing 80lbs... put it on the scale you might be suprised.

Wires that have solid colors and colors with stripes just gives you a reference for using each for its designated polarity. It doesn't make a difference which goes where, as long as the entire routing is used the same way all the way through. Just remember how you have yours. Some use the "stripe" for positive, while others use it as the negative. Keep it unison everywhere. You will be able to diagnose problems easier later on if something were to happen. -

Was thinking, and wondering if Fi has contemplated making some ear buds? I know myself, and many others i'm sure would be all over them. I have no doubt they would sell like hotcakes. I would love to see some high quality buds in the future. With awesome drivers, and a better cord then {others} with maybe a "Fi" logo built in anyways, those are my thoughts.
