check the sig dog.... two TC-3000 15"s TTB horn loaded
-
nice.... gotta love sundown, and tc/axis subs!!!! i doubt you'll need another 3000D, mine bangs on two 15"s. Just get another sub, and some ear plugs...
-
well, explain a little more about what you want... If you want 4 real 12"s, then your looking at some serious dough... not just in the amps and subs, but electrical as well, High output alt., spare battery's..... the list goes on. I think you could get good sound off of one any 12" sub supported by this site, and say a sundown 1000d, 1500d. you get what you pay for. sundown makes solids amps, so there is a start, pic what power you want to run. then figure out how much space you want to use... and we"ll go from there...

tell the GF, it aint working out. then take the blond out fishing r something, and see whats up. dont hold onto things that bring you down man... I know.
-
HCCA's are power hungry. they were made by Tc sounds/audiopulse, and are similar to say an eclipse ti, which is also TC product. on 1600rms... a havoc, Fi bl, ssa icon, ect. would be better... in a single sub setup. one sub? two? size? how much space to work with?
-
hmmm.... just curious, how would a 100.4 compare with a orion 8004. I know the sundowns are under rated, but would it beat up on my orion?
-
Refurbs, well from chris @ DB-r.com are da sznit.... no complaints about my saz-3000d. Ok, a few... passengers say its too loud.
-
Doing dual 18"s right takes a lot o space.... you'd be better of, and much easier with two 15"s, done right... or if you must have an 18, then one. two 15"s should beat a 18" in output... hypothetically, but you might be able to squeeze a 21" in the same space as two 15's, that might come close, but imo the 15"s might still be louder... but if your just beating, then do what you like... I really doubt you could ever fit 2 18's in a trunk...
-
You need to spend time on the TL. I doubt if there is one in my town....? I'll look around. the only car that i know of in town that is louder, is walled running 2 kicker 2500's, But I think i'm close, considering...
-
I can come damn close... jeep aint gonna last long... so far to date... 3 jumpers... ie, people who opened the door and got out before full volume, only demo'd 4 like 15-20 people. what do i need to do break 150dB?, cuz I'm close...
-
I don't know about all that - but I do plan to put some sort of air suspension on the back... it sags like crazy. My Jeep is.... before subs, tint....ect. subs weight it down a bit, I might go higher soon... might be interested in one Jacob... im me $?
-
Jacob, dumb question, what exactly is a flux cap, I assume its different than regular caps... Running that with 16v bats in the bank, works on a 12v elect system? cuz I might just boost my saz-3000 to 16v then...
-
IIRC no repair is more than 2 bills.... from chris anyway...
-
Rl-p, only for looks, I like the tall surround, alum cone. ect Im a TC/audiopulse guy, and since SS was a sis co. with tc, the Q would probably get a bit louder, but Ive never heard one in person...
-
hmm... SAZ-3000 and TC-3000, thats a good match... I know cuz, that's what I'm running... but I got 2 -15"s, looks like yours is 15" right? I think you coulda got away with a 1500d, though imo... that 3000 is way more than enough for two. have fun with the build!
-
4 sure.... :bigclap:
-
I just got a saz-3000 from chris at db-r. basically what he said, is that most amps that come in are from vibration type of damage, not fried. that from a factory, they have a tendency to have light solder in places. He fixes that, and double checks everything else... so IMO better than new.... mines a beast.... actually, just demo'd and had another jumper.... YOU CANT HANDLE THE BASS.....
-
do the damn thing... nightshades are no joke hell, jake did 150+db, with one Z-15" sub, and there below the nightshade's.....
-
cool :bigclap: so... no "upgrade/trade in" program from old saz-3000 to new saz3500/3000....right, just curious? I shoulda figured, with all the changing in the lines, that it would come to the 3000 as well. and is this to be the nightshade 4000D , or is that still in the works?
-
I got a jeep and a sundown SAZ-3000d went with two, TC-3000, 15" subs... got a deal I couldn't refuse... more sq oriented, I suppose, but still damn loud. If I were to do it again, options might be, same amp... 2 nightshade 15"s 2 Fi bl 15"s or a single AA SMD 18" ( I dont know if 1 saz-3000 is enough for 2-15's) Incriminator 21" Nightshade 15"s should be well over 150db if installed right. if thats what your lookin 4
-
you just cant compare those two amps... Sundown, no question. I just got mine last week, its a fing beast, I cannot imagine running 2 of them...
