just wanted to say thanks for the 3000d b-stock, Chris... its a beast.

If you dont wanna waste the $, then first tell us your goals... spl/sq? room to work with? spending $...ect. You cannot go wrong with any manf. that is on this forum... with top honors IMO going to sundown, Fi audio, Asendant Audio, Incriminator... in no particular order. soo... what do you really want....?

60mm xmax, 101db eff rating, I doubt it.... ive seen some of their lower stuff put up ok numbers... I'd go with something proven... Sundown, Fi, AA, ect. go look at the SMD sub in the AA forum... thats the new chit.

SAZ-5000d lol, I cant imagine much of a market for them. My saz-3000d is a beast. And if the 4000 are going to be even more overly built, then.. wow. but, any eta on the 4000 Jake?

they were cheap ebay ones... my bad. but problem solved I ordered the Confused mini-anl inlines earlier today... maybe i'll throw a vid up tomorrow after the snack run 4 the big game.

put it in this morning... spent the rest of day driving around enjoying it... first, let me state the system, 1/0 knu-con, in engine and to the back 230a, alt 110a idle? yellow top up front, kinetik 2400hc back 300a circuit breaker front, and back. stinger volt meter. with gain @ 1/2 on the amp, no bass boost, 1/2, or less boost from the alpine deck, at volume 20, 35 is max... one song popped the breaker. voltage held good, well not at idle, but did drop just below 12 at times when pushing it hard. the orion 2500 put up 147.2 when it popped the breaker, put I was pushing it way harder. So, I hated the breakers then, and do now... what are you guess fusing these amps at? this looks pretty good i think.. http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KNI-11 300a/360a/450a. And, I'm considering another battery, this thing is a BEAST!!!

junk, the problem with breakers are, after use and, over time they get weaker, even during use when they heat up... they rarely are what there rated at as well... so I'm just gonna go back to fuse'n it, probably the Knucon on I linked above, start @ 300A, and go from there.... and the stinger volt meter I got keeps giving me problems to... working half the time... any good meters out there? on a side note... I can not really state how much I like this amp. So clean... tight, oh, and loud. more than enough for my two, 15 TC-3000's just played with the x-over's on it a bit... made a noticeable difference

this is just insane... in a good way. box= one giant port be sure to include a Window Squeegee, to clean passengers brains of the front window...

hell, count me in... Stipulations: 1.) Must all ready own a amplifier with output between 250w-400w @ 2 ohm mono. Must list what amplifier it is. just put my sundown 3000d in this morning, but I suppose they take the back of my orion 8004, or RF 225a2, or whatever i got laying around.... 2.) Must have Stereo installation experience. List your experience. since I could drive?... countless installs, best put up 147.2db to date, but this mornings install should stomp on that. 3.) Must be an ACTIVE SSA MEMBER with >=75 posts. ok. 4.) Must do a pictorial or build log of system with in two weeks of receiving subs... 2 weeks... kinda short, but sure. 5.) Must do a medium length review with a decent array of music, listing sample tracks. well thats the fun part... ok 6.) Will post review + build log(pictures) on multiple sites ok, here... and? , feel free to copy and paste wherever if i win... deal?

Uh huh! What is it then? I mean what makes it not a daily sub? I agree joe... but I think thats not what he means... I really doubt anyone could sit in my car for an hour @ 3k, and not be sick as hell. Just be able to handle 3K, for showing off/comps and crap... right? I think a AA SMD should fit your needs and price just fine. The nightmare, "clicky" you linked, should do the same or more... but the lms is king...for spl/sq no way around it... imo I cant say enough about my TC-3000's... not the loudest out there, but sound clean as hell. if thats what you really want then save up a bit longer..

ok, So im running a 230A alt, yellow top front, HC 2400 in the back, with 1/0 all threw the engine bay, and to the back, actually have two runs... only one hooked up... and my 3000d should be here any day... should be ok, right? or do i need another rear batt?

My first choice would be LMS Ultra, 2nd AA SMD. If you look hard enough, youll find and lms, might be $pendy, but you get what you pay for.... I really cant think of anything else that could take 3K all day, BTl's, sure... death penalty? If the nightmare comes out... that could be a serious contender.

ok... 2, 15" , Incriminator DP's, sundown nightshades or BTL's 2, sundown 3000d's = really f-ing loud. or........with 10 cubes, you could do a DP 21" with two sundown 3000d's strapped, that be sweet and loud. well over 150db, and do it @ low Hz... yup that gets my vote.... hell, might do it myself 4 next build.

very identical, with the Q having a slight musical advantage, and the low end & total output leaning towards the Havoc.... bear in mind, that is alllllllllll install dependent.

I think its a sound idea Jacob. With this kind of "out of the way customer service" I cant see how you can get by, but with the turnaround on this type of program, I doubt it will matter. I hope you got some extra help lined up... you might need it. Team Sundown FTW!

damn thats clean... I went threw the basics with him, on how in depth a solid system is... alt's bat's ect....told him to get back with me with a $ amount max, and well go from there. Im already thinking a couple Fi q's 10's or 12's.. and whatever for mids... A sundown 1500 and 100.4 would be perfect imo, but again.. well see what he wants to shell out... I know Im patiently awaiting my 3000D....... :bigclap:

RE audio.com has a box builder that you can plug and play with until you find the right size and tunning freq. its pretty simple and quick to learn and use, plus it gives you all the cuts you need to make. all you need to do if find out the ideal cubes per sub, and tunning freq. and you done.

also, running at .5 ohm, vs. 1... while gaining power, increases distortion... for a daily street beater, there is no reason to run under 1 ohm, gains will be in insignificant to the ear. go 16v before running low. also having a larger battery bank will help fight voltage drop.

dual chamber.... how bout a horn loaded design...? for a few bucks, they can be designed for you... very happy with mine. And, as demin said. dont get too caught up in the #'s game... anything listed above will most certainly make you go deaf in a very short period of time...
