15 btl vs 15 bl, which fits my needs?

I would go the bl root, there is nothing better than headroom. the Btl will laugh at 2000 watts, it is like taking a 400 lb guy and feeding him salad. Will he get fed, yes... but will he be happy?

here is 1812 orchestra by Cincinnati symphony orchestra: http://www.telarc.com/Classical/title.asp?...1K3BBBNQ2CQAAC9 WARNING: Anyone with a ported enclosure not running a subsonic filter, be careful to not over exert your sub woofers. These cd's are a godsend to anyone running infinite baffle and/or large sealed enclosures capable of reproducing bass accurately.

I found the telarc website, and I am in love.... I just wish I had some ht equipment b/c I don't have the sub-stage in my car to pull it off right now. Maybe I will order up a 18" Q and build a big sealed box for when I am not competing....

Can you pm me the info on purchasing said disks. Sounds like the kind of music I love, and would be great for my own personal woofer test later this year.

I will be sure to post pics of my wall build although much less extreme, as mine is a trunk wall to keep me in Street A for dB drag. Keep us updated, put a build log in the build log section of the SSA forum.

The only downside to working in a hospital is always being around disease and death. It is pretty hard to say that bagging a body and cleaning up bodily fluids is fun for me. I love my job don't get me wrong, but when asked if my job is fun. The answer is my job has many plusses which out-weigh the downsides.

Test drove a 2001 Pontiac Firebird ws-6... was in heaven, got approved to buy the car, was just about to sign on the line when I saw the price. They wanted 24 grand for a car that sold for 30k, 6 years ago. I was like, whoa... buddy that car's blue book is only 13 on a good day, not gonna happen. Got back in the neon and drove home. (it was a very slow tire chirping free, no balls drive home)... Decided to pay off my loans from my previous car first, than I think I am just going to buy a pre-obdII lt1 camaro. Less emissions restrictions, and only 10 less hp. Not to mention the lt1 market is sitting at around 5 grand right now which is much better than the lucky to see an ls1 for less than 12k market.

Yea, pm me with some details, I am very interested in the 88- later years. Would die for an 88 due to the change in build location. My dad works for chrysler and teaches automotive, you don't even want to know how many 2.2's we have played with. I have a 2.2l Turbo in a 91 lazer in my garage, had a 2.2 turbo lebaron coupe, and a 2.2 turbo gts. (lebaron 4 door) The glh-t i know of is an 86, basic turbo I, no mods as far as i know of. Guy would probably let it go for $500-$700. There's also a complete T2 lebaron 'vert in a different junk yard. You should have told me like 6mo ago that you were interested in 2.2s, i pretty much gave away my 92 iroc R/T because i didn't have time to fix it. It's not that I am interested in the motor, its just a plus that we have quite a bit of experience with it. I am looking for a reliable spl car that I can drive basically 1000 mile round trip weekends with. And it needs to be a hatch to make it worth traveling so much to compete, I would just like one world finals invite, than maybe I can slow down and spend less than 6 grand a year in car audio.

Wonder what I can do with these :)

The subs look nice, I wonder if they are us made... than I wonder which build house oem'ed them.... Oh well, I will have to wait and see.
  16. audio-neon

What would you do (or have)

So my best bet is two 15" Q's sealed? I would go this route, get the subs in dual 2 ohm voice coils and wire them down to 1/2 of an ohm for your daily impedance. You will be feeding each sub around 900 watts rms.

glad to see the hop hopping. I am having the fun in picking out a new headunit, that has a better remote control for dB drag, so MY eclipse cd8455 will be coming out of my car shortly. Should I sell it and use the money made towards' buying an alpine h701, rux-c701 combo?. Or keep it for another car.

I am right there with you Jimj on the baroque and time period pipe organ pieces. Just so I can take them to jeff and listen to them in his camaro which can even hit 5hz.

Lol, I make one comment about a 6k watt sundown amp and everyone is already moving on past the release of the 3k?

    Welcome to the IHoP

wow, the hop is hopping. Having all kinds of fun today. was bidding on an 88 Omni glsh for my new spl car only to get outbid in the last few seconds. Damnit. I really wanted a turbo fun little hatchback that would be reliable enough to make the multiple 400 mile trips next year to help me get enough points to go to finals.

pushrods ain't thaaaat bad Look at how many people love the Ls series of motors and how long the chevy small-block has been playing with push rods. That's due to economics. GM hasn't been able to figure out how to mass-produce an OHC V8 cheap enough yet, and they won't make concessions that Ford has. The point is, economical engines are where it is at. Chrysler's biggest problem is that there motors cost so damn much. I mean 8k for an intrepid v6?.

Well I am even further in debt today, b/c I found out that my ex decided it would be cool to buy herself some stuff off-line with my card without even having the common decency of at least letting me know. I found out when I got my account statement today and was eating lunch trying to figure out where 56 dollars went. I keep a very tight eye on my account, and there goes 1/3 of my battery money. Pucking whore. she has a job why cant she just be happy spending her own money. I can't wait to hear her whining when she see's the cops when she gets home tonight.
