    Welcome to the IHoP

I would have to disagree, I finished my box (90% just waiting for my aero's to add them. so right now it is sealed) Built an amp rack, and the facia to my wall. Now I am exhausted and leave for work in 30 minutes.

    Welcome to the IHoP

glad to see the hop is hopping. I will have to update my build log soon as my wall is almost finished and I built a floating amp rack. Well off to make my final few cuts and loctite everything together.

Reconing an 10" SoundSplinter RL-i (dual 4 ohm)?

I haven't used it yet, I am waiting for it to arrive from a friend in california. Just bought it, b/c it was in need of a recone and I wanted to play with an awesome woofer/ actually recone something myself.

    SPL Battery??

SO I am finally looking to replace my factory starting battery and I am looking at a couple different options. THe Powermaster 2400 or 2700 Kinetik HC2000 Tsunami/Yellowtop (not really looking at this option just put it here) NSB 90 Stinger 1000 (their newer line) Just looking for suggestions. My budget for battery would like to be less than 200 if used or 250 or less new.

    Yo Jacob

I am dealing with the circle problem right now. My jigsaw is not having fun cutting through 2.25 inches of mdf. The most my jigsaw has done is 1.5" and that was about it's maximum. You should probably cut one sheet at a time I need one of those jigs like Rich has for the router. That is the only way to do it if you do much box building at all. takes about 20 seconds to cut a perfect hole, just the time and aggravation saved is well worth the $40ish it cost. It is definitely on my to buy list. there are a couple more things I really need to buy as well during this off season to help make building boxes a little easier/ accurate.

Would you guys buy amps or subs off ebay?

if you are looking for an amp off of ebay. search sundown audio. There is one up there that I accidentally bid on. (don't worry it was just the minimum bid) when I was looking at it.

my trunk the last 10 months

I am jealous of the sheer amount of equipment you have gone through in 10 months. Granted I have quite an inventory of woofers at this point, but many of them have never gotten to play with me since I learned more about car audio. I am always building new boxes, and working on my fabrication installation skills.

    Yo Jacob

I am dealing with the circle problem right now. My jigsaw is not having fun cutting through 2.25 inches of mdf. circles are no problem at all....... I don't have trouble doing the circle part with a jig saw, my jigsaw/ blades just whine too much when cutting through a triple baffle.

    1998 Dodge Neon

Yes... not very much fun to lift/ move around. Can't imagine it with the woofers installed. I have to finish building my floor and wall fascia. add the 2 4" aero's and install it all. build my amp rack etc... it has been a long weekend already. But Maryland is in 2 weeks and counting. I have a battery coming in by than. So I am just going to keep pushing forward to make sure that Aaron doesn't embarrass me too badly at Maryland.

SAZ-3000ds two mtx9500 or FI btls

I am so glad we can all read the dictionary. Personally I would go with the btl, they have been used by several people with over 4kw rms daily and aren't being reconed every week.
