They would die in seconds. I don't think they'd last long enough to get a burp out of them at that power level. Its only 2kw rms per woofer. LOL! I will probably be looking for new woofers soon as well. I don't have enough power to run the woofers I will be running next season yet. But I don't need to be replacing oems ever weekend.

He suggested that I get the 300a alt as well because of the massive current draw from the Hifonics. I suppose I'll get the battery tray and put another yellow top under the hood, too. That should provide enough juice. How exactly do you have to go about hooking up 2 batteries? I've seen auxillary battery kits online go for as much as 500 bucks. I've also heard wiring them in parallel works, too. What do you guys suggest? Parallel.

From that picture it looks like you cut out your rear deck and widened the trunk whole.

Secondskin has slow shipping. Ordered tuesday, arrives the next wednesday. I know its AZ to NY and the 4th of July was in the middle.... Damn 5 day shipping... Not really too concerned. Having issues getting the space to fit the kinetik 2400 under the hood of my neon.

morning hop, and Denim Transformers is good, but I haven't seen the other ones to compare either.

I am another one that is going to say ditch the rears, even in a four runner. Here are a list of woofers companies you should really look into: TC sounds Image Dynamics Soundsplinter Mach 5 Fi (particularly the Q) SSA Stereo Integrity. And sound deadening the floors and roof imo is overkill for a personal system in a four runner anyways.

yea yea... tried saying that one to her too. didn't work. I asked her. Why is our viper quieter than your camaro if power =loud? viper? We have a viper up at school (my dad teaches automotive). And it is easily quieter than her 91 camaro rs with the 305 v8. But the viper has twice the power.

Just wondering if you guys sell recone kits for this woofer? I have a chance to pick up one pretty cheap that needs a recone and thought it would be a good sub to have.

I am gonna see transformers again tonight, except this time I am bringing the Chevy chick, hoping that all of that small block Chevy power vibrating the theater gets me somewhere. LOL

I will have to get a better list, but I know that Audio Obsessions in Colonie NY is an authorized dealer. Anyplace that carries audison should be able to get hertz speakers as they are the same company.

Possibly a bad ground, etc... Maybe one of the coils is wired backwards on the subs.
